  1. Hello guys, Its been a while since I made new skins. :) but recently my buddy Thomas pressured me to get off my ass and make a couple :P . My university is starting soon, which means its good to make something for the community while I can since, for the next 9 months, I will be too busy to even visit these forums. Finally they are ALMOST done. Note that these skins are NOT available yet. However, here a few snippets of what u can expect. These skins will be released soon in a big pakage with other goodies. :smartass: :pilotfly: so without further talk, here are the teasers. ---in game screenshots--- <source: Thomas ;) >

  2. Well for what it is worth I can tell you that, during the development of FC, there was some debate between testers and the AFM designer/programmer on varies issues concerning the AFM for the Su-25/Su-25T - some real Su-25 pilots were consulted and they gave it their tumbs-up.....so :) . Cheers, - JJ.

  4. Captain sim and Lago have mi-8, mi-24, mig-21. THE best freeware i think you can get (and not only because it's my favorite plane :D) is the Galeb G2. People who like this add-on will be happy to know that Super Galeb G4 is on it's way, and that the same team will continue to produce these fine models as long as our airforce doesn't get much more fuel, so that they could actually fly :D :( :( http://www.simviation.com/fs2004military28.htm

  5. Short time frame means different things to different folks. To a guy in the street, it might mean a few weeks. To a military customer used to (eg.) 5-10 years to get a new weapon system developed, a short time frame might mean 2 years! Also, these are terms used by sales and marketing people - acknowledged as being about as trustworthy as real estate brokers.:music_whistling: I've posted this before a couple of years ago, but it illustrates my point. This what defense contractor marketing departments say and really mean........ They said: "Feasability studies are complete and we are in pre-production" They mean: "Two of our guys have talked about it by the water cooler...." They said: "This product is in production " They mean: "....and they figured out what colour to paint it" They said: "This product is in post-production " They mean: "We have sent someone out for a tin of green paint" They said: "This product is off the shelf" They mean: "We already have a tin of green paint" They said: "This product is off the shelf but is easy to modify to your (winter) specifications" They mean: "We already have a tin of green paint, we can buy a tin of white and charge you for both" They said: "Our skilled team are ready to modify the product to your specifications" They mean: "We have hired a guy who can paint, he has his own brush" They said: "This product is easy to modify by the end user" They mean: "We can sell you a 30,000 dollar paint brush"

  6. There was thread on the russian forum about comparing flight models of real Su-25 and this in game. Real pilots argue with each other. One believed that Su-25 game AFM is more similar to real Su-22, others said he was wrong and flight model is correct. Quarrel took long time. Then everybody conceded that there are small differences in each aicraft of the same type (ex. MiG-21 nr 2089654 doesn't = MiG-21 nr 23647890) and Su-25 is as real as it gets. If you look at F-15, Su-27 or Su-33, their FMs as the supersonic fighters are harder to compute so there are bigger differences but even that is OK. "Mathematic is the language of nature. Everything around us can be represented and understood through numbers. If You grab the numbers of any system, pattern emerges. There are patterns everywhere in nature..." So what about flight models? LockOn is build through numbers, not simple scripts. Look http://lockon.co.uk/index.php?end_pos=574&scr=default&lang=en. We are closer and closer, and closer... For real perfection we must wait till real supercomputers. There is too many numbers to calculate even now.

  7. $50K should be OK for non-player AI aircraft. I suppose, flyable craft with detailed cockpit will cost around $2M. if you talking serious then contact ED/TFC, if not - don't waste your time.
