OK, there are almost 20 variants of the mig 21, confusing!! When Chizh made the comparison bet the rendered model posted earlier and the real thing I think he used the f13 variant. So I decided to do it. This is the result of today's session. Basic geometry before refinement of thr fuselage and the uncut canopy. I am posting this for your geometry check before I spend more time. ( my flanker is unhappy today :D).

Yes Chizh, this is a 1 session draft. I wanted to check the general geometry before i detail. For the tail there are 2 bridges/transitions, one at base of tail/ (front) with the fuselage which i did. This should be repeated again at the brak point of the tail (at the end of the leading triang shape) which I will take care of in the second session, the rest of the tail is easy. thanks for the input.

Их всего 8, но будет больше, возможно... Общий совет: внимательно читайте брифинг, цели иногда указаны "между строк". Отдельно добавлены последние миссии "Охота на лис", "Утренний гром","Огненный дождь","Геркулес","Один за всех". P.S. Миссии создавались на максимальных настройках графики. Привет всем, пару месяцев (?) назад я поднимал тему "... разработчикам...". Ее сейчас не видно, там говорилось о взаимодействии с наземными войсками, в частности про подсветку. Я был очень занят, да и сейчас нет времени. Еще тогда подготовил миссиию имитирующую точечный удар с подсветкой наземной группой. И вот собрался наконец, подправил ее и отправляю. Hi Pilots, Since we are getting closer and closer to the VFAT it is time to give you some more information about the show. :) First of all, we’re sorry for the lack of news in the last time. However Bublik has quitted the organisation team due to more important things in real life and I had very little time in the past few weeks because of some exams in school. Anyway, I want to thank Bublik very much. It was his idea to run something like Virtual Airshows and we may thank only him that this year there’s going to be another VFAT. Now we have reorganised our orga-team and I also want to thanks VTB-Striker for his efforts in supporting us. Thanks dude! For all of you who don’t know what the VFAT is: The virtual Aerobatic Team Airshow is something like RIAT or MAKS: a big airshow where virtual aerobatic teams can fly with each other and perform their displays in front of the lock on community. It's the only virtual airshow where more than one Aerobatic Team shows its display. Visitors can watch nearly every lock on aerobatic team live. Further they can listen to all the communications of the aerobatic teams via TeamSpeak. In addition to last year this year we will also try to set up a video livestream via WindowsMedia Player… Right now we are dealing with several providers and can’t make any promises yet. But we keep you up2date. Ok, you are the most difficult community to please :) I have another option: Above is the "75" variant which i believe is the MF/Fishbed J. I have enough data to accurately model this variant and I don't mind to start again. The big question is would ED accept this variant? so please let me know if you would like this variant and get the confirmation that ED have no objection. Thank you

Q: Where/ how do I fly online? A: The first thing to understand is that your version of LOMAC MUST match the host's version. If you have vanilla LOMAC 1.00-1.02- which is typical if you just got the game- you won't be able to fly in the rooms that use "Flaming Cliffs" with the latest patch- 1.12. If you want to have the very best online experience -you really need to upgrade to "Flaming cliffs" "FC" not only opens the door to the vast majority of online pilots- but the game itself is dramatically different. Thing is- you can fly in 1.02 online, but you're making a mistake if you stay there long. There have been so many changes to the different planes you'll quite literally be practicing and learning the WRONG information on many different subjects. New key commands, & a totally re- done jamming environment to name a couple. The very BEST place to fly online is the Hyperlobby. As a new pilot- you might feeling pretty green going in there. The BIG primary rooms are usually set up with none of the low difficulty features enabled. Let go of your fear. Just try it. You're not going to get picked on, impugned or any of that. Flying on "ACE" settings is the goal- we want to teach you. Don't misunderstand. There's nothing wrong with putting up a room with the nugget features turned on once in a while to help welcome new guys or train, or whatever. There are a lot of people there that will host a room with externals, etc if you ask. Don't take encouragement to GIVE UP THE NOOB FEATURES as "harassment." That's ridiculous. We're trying to teach you and these things- while they have a limited role- will eventually stunt your growth. The "map" view is not how you learn to navigate and find your targets. You don't learn to avoid missiles or take out vehicles hiding in the hills using labels. Most of us will help any way we can. You can help yourself a LOT by getting on a communications channel that the server or your erm.. instructor.. has. That usually means TeamSpeak or Ventrilo- which can be downloaded on my main site in the downloads section. You've got to understand that trying to train someone new via the chat function is plain tiring. Help us to help you- get on comms before you press FLY. You also need to make an effort to learn some things on your own too. Print off the key commands & lay them out in front of you. Read the various forums, visit the official & fan sites and yes- read the manual. No, not the whole thing at once. Show some initiative. Practice, study, and ask questions. If you like a particular group of guys/ gals in a squadron, and you can dedicate some time to being on a team, consider joining that squad permanently. Be ready to be interviewed & evaluated. Not so much for your skills, but rather for the level of your dedication. Q: Am I ready to click on the FLY button? (multiplayer) A: A quick pre-flight checklist common to all. 1. Have I gotten on the appropriate Teamspeak channel? 2. Is my stick & track IR running with the correct profiles? 3. Have I read the briefing of the mission, and/or reviewed the map of the mission area? 4. Do I know where to go, my purpose, and how to get home? 5. Do I have the loadout that I need for my role? I guess its too late for us to signup. But are we able to submit a skin for a static display object? Squadron advertising is always a plus :-P. My XO and I were wondering if we should do anything like a tactical display of the F-14 but I am not sure we would be able to make VFAT nor at the given time zone assigned. So VFAT 2007 here we come!
