Well everyone is getting in on doing something for this wonderful sim and since i have the time at the moment (made redundant but no great loss, I hated the job anyway :D) I thought I would work on some textures myself. As some may be aware, I love 'weathered look' skins and textures so here are some. Still working on new cockpit glass and here is the finished F16. I can't find the F5 canopy glass so if anyone can direct me, it would be appreciated. Now the new style fog settings and texture tweak. I have also done weathered texture for numerous weapons and missiles and I hope to put them all in a big package soon. Mizzy

plans for gui are there, but right now the time required does not allow me to do it at the moment. console interface and config files is something i will stick with for a while. The messy source ^^ and executable are already available in the first post of this thread if you want to have a go, but you may want to wait for the non-beta release :)

Welcome to the lockon forums, probably one of the most friendly communities out there definitely. So you wont have any trouble finding some help. :) Why don't you download Hyperlobby and get flying on there, meet some new people, get some pointers and anything else you need to know? there are heaps of great tutorials and stuff over at Flanker Training: http://flankertraining.com/ironhand/index.html if you're like me and you dont have an infinite amount of downloads then you might get a taste of traffic shaping when you go to flankertrainin as the videos are pretty huge. (I wonder if someone could render these out as wmv and upload them to youtube) Flankertraining should get you most of the basics :)

Ты извини но инфы о железе и софте ты не дал. ни какая была ни новой. Я пошел вверх, тыж летал с этим софтом? А может все просто, если логично у тебя на разных машинах одинаковые глюки то скорей всего у тебя кривой софт. Закачай по новой FreeTrack 211. И очисть от всей лишней дряни автозагрузку. Вот в моей статье я описал как я нашел почему растраивалась по началу эта фигня. Я кручу ФриТрек а в автозагрузке сидела прога настройки вебкамеры, которая туда попала с дровами от камеры и реагировала на мои дейсвия своим противодействием. Теперь камера у меня настраивается только из окон ФриТрея и ручным фокусом на камере. вот так. У меня винда ХРsp2. И не играйся с питанием от USB, если не очень сикеш в электрике. Падает кепка, замыкают контакты на диоде (короткое замыкание) и все прощай блок питания ПК. или спалиш порт. или HDD адаптер стоит $3-7 а блок питания $50-60 а матерь 100-200

yeah! i know what you mean. But, I don't know...I am not complaining a lot...but just disappointed about the part that we cannot fly our new Hog, the 25T and 25 along wtih teh 27 model which ED was developing (which probably they wouldn't bother releasing now for FC... PROBABLY). Well.... to make it clear...I am more of a casual simmer than a hardcore simmer. I don't really like pushing every single button and all the avionic painstaking detail. YES, many here beg to differ....but I rather enjoy the FC concept of AFM, the regular level avionics, jump in and play. Yeah, I know that the difficulty will be scalable....but again comes back to the point that "WE expected a nice package to finish off LOCK ON with a flash". THis was going to be the addition of a nice ME, more terrain, a chopper and a dream come true infantry. Now it would have been sooo cool to have the existing 25T and A-10 in there to finally enjoy them the way it was supposed to be before...because in FC, honestly, the game was too sterile.... Only with DCS, they are getting the immersion elements with scripting and so on. Once again as I said...its just disappointment from my side that I cannot use the old flyables that are ALREADY present. Especially the high fidelity Su25T with AFM. I would be happier if they CUT AND PASTE in the su25T flyable at its existing level into DCS. cheers, V
