Sometimes lockon makes no sense... An open letter to everyone who flies FC 1.12. We would like to show in a video what many people are talking about, mostly weak missiles in one of our favorite games : Lockon. We love this game, but we also love flight simming and hope that we will see some improvements in the future. Here are some suggestions for future projects. These exploits cannot be allowed to stay in a future game, at least that is what we think. ALL missile explosions you see in here are non-damaging hits - either hitting each other or missing/exploding to far behind. Nowhere in this video (except one aim7 from 1.5 nm while in notch) did a missile damage the F-15 defending. EDIT: There have been people saying "how without labels?". Well I won't tell you how, but I will say it works just as well.

A massive thank you to GOZR for your eeeeexcelent graphics config tweak which i just downloaded,I'm now running at a higher res(oh so pretty) but at a muuuuch smoother frame rate :punk: Im not sure what crazy ass pixy dust ya put in there but now lock-on has become a game I'v always wanted to play more but could never get it looking and running like what i really wanted into a game i think I'm about to throw myself into with a big smile ass on my face:smartass: Thanks for your hard work GOZR ~S~ p.s. your FSX tweaks are awsome too,cheers

ViPer_svrd, попробуй этот файл использовать, разархивируй AIRPLANE-EMBLEM.tga в TempTextures и скажи как получилось. AIRPLANE-EMBLEM.rar

Dude, your were the best of the 504 at BVR. Im sorry if this offends others there, but I remenber our furious competition at the stats, that was fun as hell. I missed you alot. Since then I endured some of the frustration you talk about, and man I even brought it to these boards in total rage! I was told to deal with it and I had. Do the same and dont give up! I truly believe once the clutter/chaff resistence and ECM and maddog exploits are cured it will be enough to restore some truth to the SIM. Even if the barrel roll and chaff still lures missiles at 0 degrees aspect remenber, the window of opportunity to escape is still narrow, after all Barrel roll makes the pilot tired, and chaff does not last forever either! After a while your oponent will have to ease the stick and run out of chaff, just dont spam the missiles, fire in longer intervals.

Excellent Vid =RVE= :matrix: Honestly Glad to be a Bomber-Boy..............watching that saddens me that I have not the Desire nor the Patience to suspend belief to such an extent that I will honestly be able to strap myself into a Fast-Jet and Engage in "Realistic" (or as close to as) Air to Air Combat and walk away from the experience with Satisfaction and Enjoyment rather than Disappointment and Frustration................... Maybe One Day..............

Nessary words.. To all out there...... Pointing on these kind of lacks in this sim ( and there are more ) was and became a hot discussion...... Should we speak it out, should we show it ? ... should we keep it silent...? ... will that be a manual for all to screw it full up? ... will that turn back in bad way and will evil win instead of the good meaning of it speaking it out? Well, we will see but there is a saying ..you can fool one person all the time ..you can fool all once a time .. but u cant fool all all the time .... and for the common good .... these things have to be shown.... i dont know excatly, how and in what way ED is thinking, acting or how their philosophy of these products are.... i only can see it from the replies...but YES we do want to support ED to make things better....and we hope to be listened..... Not everything said - especially this never ending discussions bout real word and reality ( yeah right all realpilots here dodging missiles every day ) - is usefull, and only complaining and destroying the beauty of it doesnґt help either, but few things are just tooo off....MUST BE changed. I still do believe that ED has the ability to make outstanding products if they want to..... and again...we will see. To ED .... dont take this personal...this is positiv critics. In respect to all

Hello guys! I think i need to reanimate thread. Long time passed after my last post... I haven't got much time, but if i have - i'm upgraiding my mod. See what i have new: MiG-29 with new realistic pyload E-3A's in new paintchemes. Now E-3A included to 3 more countries (Japan, UK, France).

News Hello, i will release it when is finish :-) :-) No... :-) I'm working to optimize the polygons..... and I'm slow... I'm new in Max. Please give me a little time to do that. I'm working alone on this Model and is very Hard for me. The last error is fixed.... The Skins can be change in Lockon. bye Mitch
