Recently I have become increasingly busy with RL commitments including a 4 month old daughter, increased responsibilty at work and persuing a graduate degree. Unfortunatley I can no longer dedicate the time needed to moderate or run LOCERF. The good thing is, I leave behind an excellent moderating staff with 3Sqn_Fudd, S77th-GOYA and JaBoG32_Laud and they have the continued support of the 159th and many other squadrons out there! I know that they will continue the fine tradition of organizing the finest community event out there! I appreciate the support from the community and I had an incredible amount of fun working with so many of you. LOCERF 07-1 and 07-2 were an amazing thing to organize and watch but I didnt realize how much fun it was until I flew in it with 07-3. The reason it was so much fun is becasue of how serious everyone was about being invloved and making it enjoyable for all. I will miss moderating, but my hope is that you will still see me around from time to time flying or helping as time permits. S! 159th_Fudd

Эээ, я кончно извиняюсь, но правильно писать "издавна". И очень бы хотеслось конкретно указать кем, когда и в каком именно "основном" поздравлялась мужская половина? 23 февраля приобрело характер большого всенародного праздника с1922г, как День Рождения Красной Армии. 22 февраля 1922 года на Красной площади впервые состоялся парад войск Московского гарнизона, а вечером - торжественное заседание Моссовета совместно с представителями воинских частей Московского гарнизона. И с 1923 по приказу Реввоенсовета Республики 23 февраля ежегодно отмечался как День Красной Армии. Я так думаю, что сейчас люди, ноящие погоны также дойстойны того, чтобы иметь собственный профессиональный праздник. В конце концов, это то немногое, что у них пока еще не отняли. Энурезники, шизофреники, пидерасты-уклонисты и студенты-откосисты, а также весь остальной новорусский планктон с пиписькой в штанах, может поздравлять сам себя все остальные 364 дня в году. 23 февраля - профессиональный праздник военных, а не "международный мужской день", как некоторым хочется. Прошу уважать.

Well, better income, first and foremost. That's one of the big reasons people spend so many years and so much money on education, isn't it? Thats why I did, at least. Not because I'm greedy but because I knew that in order to support a family and care for an aging parent (and parents in law) and have plenty left over I would have to make enough money to be comfortable. How much is average pay in the various military branches vs. the pay of the average MBA? Rather than going through the myriad of reasons why most people don't join the military, let me just put this in the most respectful way possible. You know all those people out there driving gas-guzzling SUVs and living comfy lives in big houses? The ones that potentially benefit from YOUR hard work and service to the United States? Well, the road to that cushy life doesn't need to include 4 years of military service. It certainly can include it, but a lot of people opt to go for their education and start a career and never give the military one thought. I don't know what your opinion is on this, but this is case. When I was in highschool, the buddies I had that joined the military did so out of a lack of opportunities elsewhere. Without exception, the friends that had other opportunities pursued those instead. I'd really like to bow out of this discussion about US military recruitment with you because I don't like where this is headed. From the way you post, it suggests that you can indeed figure out why someone wouldn't join the military but you just want to argue about why you don't agree with those reasons. If thats the case I'm sorry you feel that way. Not everyone is cut out for it, be proud that you are! :)

How it should work is like this: 1/ pilot starts aircraft and sets tower freq(UHF) plus package freq(VHF) 2/ pilot talks to tower on UHF while this is set all AI/human traffic landing and taking off in the traffic pattern can be heard. 3/ After departing the package switches UHF freq for AWACs and flight lead checks in.etc So there should really be no debate over this its simple as outlined above for each freq set only coms on that freq can be heard with one exception being guard etc. All the AI should follow the same procedure as the human players and should have same reponses eg hold short, take off, check in/check out. Otherwise you would have the same problem as with lockon a void empty radio with nothing happening. IMO good radio = immersion

I think I'm an excellent candidate for the Beta test team because I'm amazingly skilled at Halo 3.

Подкачка погоды из инета это конечно бонус, но представте какие бы получились миссии с динамической погодой для вертушки. А по поводу бронирования, осколков и прочего.... будте реалистами.... у нас закрылки и шасси не отрывает на скоростях более 500 поскольку "у программеров и так есть работа"........

Сходите в соответствующие места ,книжки почитайте...может что нибудь и увидите кроме ОРТ... ...И не стоит мне приписывать круговой радар ---Я слышал что некоторые пилоты используют режим навигации, ппм, и компас чтобы не заблудиться (: --- А вот я про то что с компасом кто то летает ,кроме Вас,не слышал ...Если Вы АРК имели в виду ...а где АРК в ЛО ?...Нет ну если с наручным компасом правильно и удобно летать ...то ко мне какие вопросы...летайте И наконец Вам персонально отвечу на Ваш очень "задумчивый" вопрос...Интересно где на реальных прототипах моделируемых в локон, Нет навигации?,РП?..и нет целеуказания,и еще много чего...И СУ-25 "простой" самолет...оригинально ...Вы его досконально изучили ...если так то ВЫ конечно все по теме высказали ...осталось только палец намочить ,и в небо можно ...ветер же известен Оффтопить не по делу не стоит ...

Немного вернусь в тему.. про урода который своих валит. Вопрос чисто психологического характера, зачем ему это надо? Какой от этого кайф? Считаю этого человека дегениратом переростком. Вообще, для размышления, можно просто сделать так, что бы при отрицательном счете, к примеру -200 автоматически выбрасывало пользователя с сервака, с неким лимитом времени, например, минут на 5. при повторном случае, бан. Эту практику применяют широко в батлфилде 2)

Поправил про не погибшего (не плененного). Убрал про отчисление игроков. Убрал то, что "амбициозно и несерьезно", как ты выразился. Про Многоэтапные раунды не правлю - это касается отдельно взятых миссий и кампаний, которые пока не планируется проводить. Про предварительную запись ничего не писал. Если человек желает принять участие в каком-то проекте, ему не составит труда постучать в аську к организаторам или отписаться на форуме. Это не сквадовские войны, чтобы забивать слоты на сквады.

Хотелось бы продолжить тему. У меня железо поновее... Pentium Prescott 3.2 GHz HT (LGA 775)/ P5AD2 Premium (Intel 925X)/ 1 GB RAM (Kingston)/ nVidia 7800 GT (сегодня поставил новую видеокарту) и тем не менее, средний FPS на средних настройках - около 18, на максимальных - 9-10. Скриншот с FPS (миссия - обучение/ руление и взлет) - прилагаю... Вопрос - неужели мое железо недостойно максимальных настроек? Отсальные игры просто летают, а вот LockOn 1.11 - :(

Если сервак RIMM'a, то наверно он внутригородской, а если это так, то буду обезательно...

Шпашип, а то на дискетке из дома на работу ташшить влом было ;)
