I just watched it. Nothing special to be honest, nothing that I haven't seen or heard yet. First they talk about the missile mania of Hruschov which killed many perspective aircraft projects. Then how the development of the SR-71 provoked the creation of the MiG-25. The mystery around it and the years the americans have been trying to collect any data about it. The runaway of Oleg Belenko to Japan which gave the 25 in the hands of US aircraft designers. There's some funny part as well- you can see some ground crew carrying plastic bottles- they are filled with spiritus used in the avionics cooling system during Mach 3 flight. The MiG-25 carries more than 200 liters of this liquid whose qualities exceeded the average vodka you could buy :) That's why the 25 is the most beloved plane amongst the ground (and ot only ;)) crews of the russian AF. There's also some footage about the few accidents during the test flights causing death to some of the most popular russian test pilots. The video ends with the flight of former USAF SR-71 crew chief who has been serving with the Black Birds at Okinava during the Cold war. So he makes his dream come trough and pays for a flight on MiG-25 two seater, going Mach 2.8 at 20000m. That's it.

@ Majesco : I didn't try, but what about the animations ? Arg# on the Su-33 and the IA F-14 aren't the same, AFAIK... And I hope you've asked VNAO team before releasing you "mod of mod". ;) Cheers Az'

Насколько я помню, в ЛО невозможность нормальным способом восстановить убитого пилота была очень неприятной особенностью для многих пользователей. Поэтому сейчас мы сделали проще, пилот неубиваем, но зато копит смерти. В то же время тем кто считает, что у пилота только одна жизнь, ничего не мешает после получения первой смерти удалять текущего пилота и заводить нового.

Glad to see everyone is liking the new F-14D so far. I have seen a few guys post some screen shots showing the tail white appearing as planes. This is kind of odd as everyone in the VNAO thus far has not seen this nor can we get it to do this on any graphic game setting. Oh well, I guess I will just re-create it anyway and add it to the file for a revison in the future.

To the poly question, u can use editable poly mode and slice in some vertexes with slice plan, and u can also insert vertexes freely on the edges of the model using insert vertex in edge mode.

yeah, agree, explosion visuals and sound are so weak in LOMAC, I'm really hoping that in BS "ED" did put some effort to make it look and sound more real than Xmas fireworks. Cos now I'm not sure, did 500 lbs exploded or not ... :smilewink: about the nukes in BS, sure, only planes which are able to carry nuke weapons should have them in armament, in this case AI planes only, cos no planes which are scheduled in future DCS release are nuke carriers. And IMO giving a human player ability to carry a nuke is a big mistake :D (talking about myself, u better hide)

Bad move ;] I am suprised that even after "nose" lost (where is TV Shkval) I could aim by TV and steer normal like with nose :D

You make it sound like you pay for the model and you wont pay anything if its not perfect as you want it? i just looked on the PSV Tiger and it is 99% the same as this model , only differance is an radio antenna on the top of the aircraft. Its not nice talking like you do, and this goes for everyone that is about or has made dumb comments!.. . We wont put up with it and we can might aswell keep it for ourselfs. I know its not in your interest to make us feel bad, but you do with request like that..... Well it was more of an demand .." Nice model but if you dont build it they way i want to have it then i dont want anything with your model to do!" we are not excatly smashing you in the face with it demanding you to use it!...
