Server is running like a scalded puppy. We have a new mission coming up on Thursday with over 600 units in the mission. It should be tons of fun and test the capacity of this new machine.

Planes crash all the time. It doesn't matter if it's a mig, sukhoi, eagle, falcon or raptor. Accidents keep happening, and each military keeps statistics on them, but not all publish them. In other words, as a military aircraft operator, you always expect a certain amount of Class A mishaps in a year. (Class A mishap means damage >1 million dollars, or loss of the aircraft, or loss of life).

The only way to reduce the maddog issue in a patch which I can see is by addressing the scan cone but it will apparently ruin 120's and 77's. I don't understand why because right now it has virtually a 180deg fov which seems to get randomised on whether it aquires a target or not. Why not reduce this angle to a more realistic scope if the missile is heading for the target through the radars guidance then its going to aquire it with a 60deg cone just as much as it would with a 180deg cone. To just remove the override funtion will just end up with people locking, launching and running, virtually the same as maddogging. Re. LRM mod, this is one the best mod ideas in Lockon and deserves everyones support, CAC IFF in the F-15 must be one of the most valuable aqcusitions for the F-15 lately, thanks to Yoda and his team.

+1 rep for kaiserb uk. I too would like to thank those who have come forward and offered assistance. I think they understand our frustration as this situation now drags into 3 months. I also can't wait to be able to put this whole matter behind me and move on to more constructive things.

I just read a thread in off-topic forum (http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=39700) about using 3rd party maps (yahoo, google, etc.) into Flight simulator using applications like Tileproxy (stream) and maps2bgl (non stream). Can a terrain mod use something like this? Bonjour a tous! Oui, je suis bien un ex-ingenieur de chez Kamov (departement de projets techniques (OTP) et puis departement de rotors principaux, brigade de developpement de pales). Donc, mon job c'etait surtout la petite Ka-226 et la modernization du Ka-31/32. Le Ka-50, je l'ai touche aussi - il nous servait d'ideal pour les pales modernisees du Ka-31/32. P.S.: Le Ka-50, quand il est tout a cote de toi.... C'est vraiement impressionnant. Le plus beau et le plus gracieux de tous les helicopteres a mon avis. Off: 2 Psycho: je suis amoureux d'une fille Russe qui travaillait a Marseille et qui est maintenant revenue en Russie....... Resultat - on repassera a Marseille cette ete pour 3-4 jours... en voyage de noces :)
