  7. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction, Tom. I tried the suggestion you posted before, but Helios stopped working as a result. I've now set both: EnableExportScript = true intelliVIBE = true Now Helios and iVibe are both working. I'm not sure this is correct but it works so I guess I can't complain. Overall I'm pretty impressed with the whole thing. The build quality is very impressive and it is definately more effective then the old BK2, I was using. I think the support in DCS needs some refinement, but I imagine it'll get there eventually. For example, the seat doesn't react much when firing the GAU-8, unless I turn audio sense up a couple of notches. That has a few unwanted side effects. Quite happy with my purchase. +1 for your help.

  9. I use Helios and TSF3 ..... you have to edit your config.lua as stated earlier in this thread. No problem using both systems side by side. IF you want to work via lua-files you have to bind the lua-file under helios in the setup of your device "A-10" ... give the path to the lua and helios will add a line to your config, same way as TARS uses .... I have right now the problem that my TFS3 is not recogniized by win7 again, I have had the same on my first startup. Contacted Craig and got an answer very soon with the offer to get a new TFS USB-module but I will first try different usb-cables. Its strange, might to be in conjunction with all my audio setup and many many usb devices ....

  10. Page 537 "Note: When releasing a ripple of bombs, they will land centered around the pipper aimpoint." (emphasis mine) So for the ripple to hit the whole column pipper needs to be at center of column, if it's at head of column half of bombs will miss.

  11. Yes, as I have always undertood it,the NEZ refers to the range at wich you won't be able to outrun the missile,it has nothing to do with the missile being unavoidable trough decoys and maneuvers, tough once in the NEZ you'll have to be quite precise for not getting shot down.

  12. I am really looking forward that you guys got the TFS3 soon !!! First that you can share this really nice experience, second that there might be some more people involved in TFS3 ! I set up mine but with the profile for A-10 I am not really happy. I changed it a little but all forces are not "hard enough" for me. In flight a set it up calm and soft. For the speedbreaks and landing gear I set it to maximum, but with no effort. I am also missing a conenction to the gun. On gunfire nothing happens .. the seat is not moving one inch ... I am sure if a A-10 pilot blasts the gatling the plane will shake. On rolls I can see in the graph bar that something happens with the seat , but cant really feel it. Maybe my butt-o-meter is not sensible enough :) The ivibe forums are a pain in the ass. Old threads .... I signed up and wait for some days to get able to write ... but it seems that there takes nobody really care about the forums. So, I am looking forwar that the TFS community will grow up iin this forums and I find some solutions for this real nice gimmick !! BTW: I use it as intellivibe, not over the exports. Maybe I should try the way over exports ?! Cheers Tom

  13. Your ignorance and lack of maturity on this subject is quite obvious to me and anyone else reading this thread,I'd suggest you limit your comments in things you know nothing about to keep your reputation from further sinking in to the abyss of stupidity.;)

  14. A bit of constructive criticism (yeah, me again ;) ). Once again, a good video nice made, but a few things to consider. 1. You change the Ripple spacing from the default (and optimum for Mk-82s) 75ft to 100ft, but you don't explain why. I'm not sure why you decided to change that, but it might be worth explaining why you do such things for those who've never used those setting before. 2. In a similar vain to the above, you change the min alt settings to 4,000ft, but again don't explain why you're doing it or what effect it has to the DSMS/IFFCC calculations. I'd recommend explaining such things in future for the same reasons I stated above. 3. You make no mention of the DTOF or SEM in the profile. Two of the most important settings. 4. Using CCIP CR is a VERY good tip. But again, worth explaining what it does and how to use it. Now on to your actual delivery. 1. NEVER use the speed brakes during a weapon delivery. The Hog is already slow enough, it doesn't need any help. Speed if life in combat, maintain every bit you can. ;) 2. Throttle. FYI, for deliveries using less than 30 degrees of dive you want max power, between 30 and 45 degrees throttles to mid range and for 45-60 degrees throttles to idle. Again, speed is life. 3. Avoid touching the rudders. It leads to oscillations that reduce weapon accuracy. 4. Watch the escape after the release, make sure you will clear the frag envelope. And now, just to illustrate some of the above, here's an example of a 40 degree High Altitude Dive Bomb for you to compare, it's not perfect but it serves its purpose of illustrating a HADB delivery. Hopefully you can take something useful from it and use some of the points above in future videos. Once again, well done for making the effort, it's a shame more people don't do things like this.
