As a repainter, I always have ModelViewer open, most always on a certain model. Having to load a model every time you start the program and set all of the arguments the way you want, especially when it's the same one every time, can be a pain. You can use the autoexec.lua for ModelViewer to do all of this automatically for you with any model in the game. In the "Config\ModelViewer" folder, you find autoexec.lua. You can open it with Notepad ++ and in the file you will find several example lines. --mount_vfs_liveries_path("Mods/aircrafts/Wunderluft/Liveries") --mount_vfs_texture_path("Mods/aircrafts/Wunderluft/Textures/base_zip_package") --LoadModel("Bazar/World/Shapes/A-10.edm") --LoadLivery("A-10C","184th FS Arkansas ANG, Fort Smith (FS)") --SetArgument(0,1) --SetArgument(3,1) --SetArgument(5,0.75) LoadModel tells the program which model to load on startup. LoadLivery tells what folder in the "Bazar\Liveries" directory to open, and which livery in that folder to use. SetArgument is self explanatory: first number is argument, second is key frame for that argument (-1.00 to 1.00). There are also mount_vfs_texture_path and mount_vfs_liveries_path lines which tell the program to force-load texture or livery directories on startup. Use these as a template to make your own auto-load (just delete the -- at the beginning of each line). Saves a lot of time, especially if you are a repainter. I've also uploaded my edited autoexec.lua as an example for those interested. In my file, I have the P-51 with Bare Metal load by default, with gear down, flaps down, canopy open, oil and coolant doors open, rocket pylons hidden and propeller static. Он и так работает, если у тебя одноходовая гашетка на джойстике. Стабилизация включается автоматически при стрельбе, смотри на HUD - там видна индикация режима.1 point

А графика так и останется на уровне 96 года? С высоты 2 км еще более менее не заметно, облака, приборы, все дела. А у земли графика - говно. Конечно если это продукт только для фанатов серии, которые "да ты чё, там геймплей тащит" и тд, то понятно...1 point

What ED has done here is, as has been mentioned, the standard and "correct" way to do things. Screenshots that you take while in your account are part of user data, thus go into user folder. If you have an abnormal configuration where this causes a problem, you can solve this easily: Right-click the Saved Games folder in your user directory, and select Properties, like so: Then find Location tab, select to move it, and then decide where you want it. Essentially, User files are part of the system drive, that's how the OS itself is designed, but as indicated above you can move things around to suit your configuration. No need for ED to start using non-standard practices. Rather, you should keep some user files in mind when deciding on the size of your system drive, because Windows (and most flavors of Unix, Linux, BSD, OSX etcetera) is specifically designed to work like this. Another possibility is to make a simple cronned bat that moves data-intensive stuff over to some other location a little now and then.1 point

Understand that this is the way things have done in Windows, Unix, OS X, and Linux for a long while. From a software design standpoint, the correct way to store user-created files in a multi-user environment is in the given user's home folders. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Home_directory You're welcome to kvetch about it, but understand that ED should not abandon good software design principals just because a few users have an atypical configuration. And yes, whether you like it or not, using a solid-state drive as you are is currently an atypical configuration. I elected not to use them when I built my system about 6 months ago for that exact reason. The solution is not for ED to change their system. You should consider alternative software for taking screenshots, which may allow you to save the files in an atypical location outside of your user folder. Alternatively you may search for a way to change the location of user folders so that they are not on the SSD. I cannot say if this is possible but I would guess that it is. (If you can network boot 16 computers from a single master drive kept in the closet, well, why not?) Assuming that it is possible, this would be the "correct" way to configure your system. In summary: it is ED's responsibility to make sure their software is well-behaved, meaning that it stays within the user folder. It is your responsibility to make sure the user folders are located on the physical drive where you want well-behaved software to save files.1 point

Не отрицаю. Берем время выхода первого ЛА с максимально проработанными системами(А-10). Отнимаем время выхода первого ЛО(СБА). Имеем время проработки от "ух! полетели" до "куда дубина с такими параметрами взлетаешь?!". И время это - 2011 - 2003 = 8(восемь!!!!!) лет. Учитывая что БТ не является приоритетной частью ЕД я искренне желаю вам(и мне) дождаться адекватной БТ.1 point

Если у наземки все на данный момент в виде аркады ,кроме баллистики, то как дела обстоят с системами ? Скажем дымовая завеса, сенсоры лазерного облучения, РЛС кругового обзора на ракетно-ствольных системах ПВО малой дальности (раз уж за С-300 не поиграть) и др., это будет как аркадные дивайсы или нет !? И кстати какая система управления артиллерией будет (самоходками) от первого лица или командно-планшетная, или так и так !?1 point

That is a good question! And this problem has been around since LockOn.. So I fear they are not going to fix it any time soon Nothing pops your immersion bubble quicker than seeing a plane sitting on the runway one second.. warping to 10,000ft the next second.. than back onto the runway the next second As for jet missle kills, ie BVR kill it is not a real big issue.. Only because you can not 'see' a plane warping at BVR! But now with up close and personal gun kills type of fighting the P51 brings to the table The net code is going to have to be improved! You just can not have planes warping around as your lining up your gun sight If they dont fix it WWII gun kill stuff will never get off the ground (pun intended) Except for when it warps off the ground!1 point

AHHH OK NOW I GET IT!!!!! LADIES AND GENTLEMEN...... WE HAVE FINALLY REACHED THE BOTTOM OF THE ISSUES HERE! DELL-MURREY RUSS HAS HIS OWN GUNZ SERVER! Mate you should have just said that from your first post and saved me all this effort. I am simply now going to cut this conversation off.... you can't tell me all your complaints / gripes are all from a neutral position.. if you have your own server and you think its better great! Next time please don't sh!t all over my posts for 3 days... just come out and say your server has no rules on day one and you think that's better. I appologise to you and all the people involved in creating and hosting your guns server, for saying that ALL guns servers have no firing before the first merge rule was wrong and based on incorrect information. I have never joined your server before and as a result I did not know this was the case. I can see clearly now how this would be an issue and I will go back and edit my posts to let the community know that there is a guns server with no rules regarding firing before the merge... I hope we can leave this here and let the gunz / missiles do the talking in future sir! Have a great day S! Note to all: For a BFM server with NO RULES regarding shooting before the first merge please find the "Gun'N'Roses Arena" server. :) Ох, и только так вы знаете, у меня нет проблем с русским языком.
