  1. Maybe ED can open up the Channel Map a little bit by decrypting some of the protected files and then letting the talented community mod artists do what they do best.
  2. Technically you can edit the SurfaceDetails "DCS-MapName".sd5" file by deleting the contents and re-saving. I did this for a few of the most annoying maps I own as a test and created an OVGME package that looks like this: see post above

  4. For those still using a X-56 Throttle and the Slider for the Speed Brake: You can edit the default.lua located in VNAO T45\Input\Joystick to make the slider work as the Speed Brake is Retracted Off, Else On when Switch is Forward. Edit Line 116 --Original line 116 in default.lua: {down = EFM_commands.SpeedBrakeSwitch, up = EFM_commands.SpeedBrakeSwitch,cockpit_device_id = devices.EFM, value_down = -1.0, value_up = 0.0, name = _('Speed Brake Switch FORWARD else CENTER'), category = _('Systems')}, --Updated line 116 for X56 Slider: {down = EFM_commands.SpeedBrakeSwitch, up = EFM_commands.SpeedBrakeSwitch,cockpit_device_id = devices.EFM, value_down = -1.0, value_up = 1.0, name = _('Speed Brake Switch FORWARD else DOWN'), category = _('Systems')},
  5. Congrats on your NS 430 upgrade to the wonderful L-39. I bought the NS 430 a few years ago for the same reason. Maybe there is a brighter future in DCS where we pay $5 to $10 for more technology upgrades to our most favorite and classic modules.
  6. DCS: Digital Cloud Simulator Great mod!
  7. This is probably the Reshade preset. Provided from an earlier post. Cheers
  8. You can add MB-339 to the list. I would be happy with a FAQ that shows how someone can copy one of the other profiles and manually update their own.
  9. Good question. They never added the MB-339 either. @WINWING @WinwingTech any workarounds or suggestions?
  10. DCS is the best cloud simulator sandbox. @Eagle Dynamics Time to add this to a future Core update.
  11. The CPU Patch did the trick for me too. Before the patch my system was getting Maximum CPU temps of 81C in Germany Cold War Map. Now things are back to normal. Yepee!
  12. I was using Tobii GameHub (TGH) but just switched to OpenTrack (OT) because I started to notice how much microstutter there was in head movement with TGH. I don't recall TGH being so laggy and jittery in the past. Something must have changed between some DCS and Tobii updates. Using the latest beta version of OT with the Relativetave translation and HamiltonAccela filter is pretty smoth.
  13. I believe we can't expect any FSR updates until Vulkan arrives. As a workaround you can try OptiScaler: https://github.com/cdozdil/OptiScaler It actually helps to reduce the crazy amount of AA shimmering that my AMD RX6800 suffers from. Only install to DCS World\bin - Make sure you follow the instructions. DCS no longer uses the bin-mt folder. This requirement and other suggestions plus plenty of videos are documented online if you do a few searches Good luck.
  14. I have not spent as much time as I wanted to with DCS since purchasing this map. The interesting thing I did notice with the Upper Northern part of the map, when facing the ocean, was that the frame time stutter and FPS performance drop was extremely noticeable for me only with the excellent and free OH-6A helicopter. The Kiowa and Gazelle performed much better and with zero stutter on the same location. Something strange is going on, and I am more curious to know what the solution will eventually be because it has not really stopped me from enjoying the map in its current state.
  15. @plusnine, Thank you for giving me a reason to start up DCS tonight and update my A-4E-C to version 2.3. How much time I spend will be dependent on the weather and the dog.. lol
