You make a solid point about the plans. But since I have seen people ask for dimensions, and some people may want to manufacture things themselves, I'll probably release the products concurrently.
As for the HUD, I have absolutely no experience with programming, electronics, or optics.:( I plan on talking to the robotics club at my school as a whole. It's one of the largest extra-curricular ventures on campus and fully funded by the school. It's also one of the first FIRST robotics teams and has been to a world championship and several national championships since the early nineties. So there will be no problem recruiting some good people from there. I'm a mechanical guy (aerospace engineering major), hence why I started with the panels. I have to research how to pull the data from the sim and how to make the HUD work. Not exactly easy when you're a college sophomore in multiple clubs and have a job.
