  1. I am using the OXR toolkit on-screen menu which shows CPU/GPU and VRAM utilization. When switching I see no big change in VRAM usage but when going back to F1 I can see and feel the GPU time going to 70ms or even more higher values. It feels like an issue of thread handling and prioritization from the dcs.exe process but I need more data to understand. I will try to collect some statistics using the OXR toolkit and come back.
  2. Thanks for the update! I think first post hasn't been updated with the correct link for 1.3.1
  3. @Home Fries any chance you have time to add the trim functions for ah-64d in this update?
  4. I mostly fly in VR using a 3080ti as egpu via thunderbolt. Performance and visuals are quite nice and small benefit was seen from the recently added multi threading. However, one issue I am facing quite some time now is when I switch from F1 to F10 view and switch back to F1 the GPU time gets 60 or 100+ ms and this causes huge shuttering. Could this be because of the egpu and data transfer over the thunderbolt? Sometimes it will recover performance but timing seems really random and sometime it just doesn't
  5. Thanks for the explanation, I forgot that purple equals to long-press. On the VR zoom, this is also mapped to double tapping of trim up.
  6. Two weeks ago a new version (0.9.4) was published on github https://github.com/glenmurphy/fingers/releases
  7. @Home Fries on the ah-64d, how do I control the AI (w,s,a,d)? The manual shows H3 but it does not seem to work like that. FYI I have loaded the AI profile (TARGET AH64D AI kb v264.diff), is there another for wh? One more issue I noticed is that the "master mode control button" operates like VR zoom and not as master mode.
  8. Issues only with VR and not related to simshaker.
  9. If you were using the openxr toolkit then you are not able to use any NIS or similar any more. Check this
  10. I updated DCS open beta yesterday with no issues related to sim shaker and sound module. There are some issues with VR
  11. Is the small box on the windows tray? The main program should start when DCS launches.
  12. My only other suggestion would be to start testing one change at a time. Otherwise soon you will hope you never started this. On the bluriness for me it was always NIS and given your specs you do not need it.
  13. I would recommend you disable NIS usage, make sure you set custom render scale at OXR 100%. What is your PD in DCS?
  14. Can someone test if George works in ag-64d? I am able to enable it but not possible to press w,a,s,d using the stick.
  15. @Home Fries thanks for assigning lights to pinky switch, this makes things lot better. I have another question, have you assigned trim reset for ah-64d? I did some tests and I think it's not there. I can see in the controls it's mapped to LCtrl+T
  16. I also think that with such a ring or similar device leap motion can be an alternative to pointctrl
  17. this looks great but tbh I have no idea if it the buttons can be mapped to mouse buttons. The cost seems quite low perhaps we could give it a try
  18. I am using this https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3043393/ for my hotas config which utilizes trim stick to mouse functions. Left/right is left/right click and up/down mapped to scroll up/down.
  19. I tested it and It works very nice as you can control the cursor with your palm or fist. Just disable the laser and use the keybindings in UI Layer to disable hands. I think with a ring device in both hands this will be great, given the fact that my mouse buttons are mapped in one of the hotas which restricts one hand from being used.
  20. What is your setting in the below? I do not have the lua installed and not using them in the script, is it possible you mixed things there? null
  21. Actually you only need mouse buttons mapped. However, you need one hand on hotas to click and the other moving the cursor.
  22. I played with fingers app and this is how it works. When you launch it and start moving hands around, fingers app moves the mouse cursor. You need to map a left/right click to the hotas and start clicking buttons etc. The bluetooth ring would be a device with 2 mouse buttons, so you still move hands around but instead of hotas you click using the ring. Fingers app is quite straight forward, no install just download and execute. I will try with hotas during flight to check how it feels.
  23. Has anyone understood how the fingers app work? Does it require a ring bluetooth device? https://github.com/glenmurphy/fingers/releases/tag/v0.9.3
