Yes I have a test mission with one A10c that is set to client.

Im trying out my home server tonight. When logging in to the master does the server need a different account than my gamming computer or is there no problem them both sharing the same user name and password.

Until the maker of Helios does an update it will never be fixed.

Was going to try my new home server to see how it works. Guess not.

Im trying my server for the first time. I have open DCS Mulitplayer. I went to new server to load my test mission and it asks for me to log in. So I go back and log in ( which I think that it is my log in for digital combat simulator account) and for the last hour it cant connect to the master server. Is the server down or is there another way to get to my server.

Fly with rudder. Lets say that the target is on your right side give right rudder and hold opposite aileron to keep the plane from rolling.

Because they are for my dad that is not that great with computers. It would be better for him to use the Quick Start menu.

I have taken the Quick Start missions and changed/edit then along with the LUA files for my Dad. The problem is for the Mi-8 and UH-1 they will not show up in the quick start menu. Its not showing the missions or the Tab's for the two aircraft. But I have no problems with the A10 or P51. I thought that I might have messed up the quickstart.LUA files so I put them on my server and they also did not show up in the Quick Start menu either. And whats strange is that I have no problems on the computer that I edited them on with. They show up with no problem. What could it be. Is it because the two Heli's are in beta. Here are the two lua files and two of the missions. The quickstart.lua and Cold Start in Vaziani.miz is for the MI-8 The quickstartUH1.lua and Platform Landing Cold.miz is for the UH-1. You will need to rename the quickstartUH1.lua to quickstart.lua. I changed it to load to the fourm.

Put in a smaller resolution in the World options.

Im editing Dragon's mission Convoy Hunting. There are about 30 vehicles that are set to late activation and triggers to random at mission start. The way the triggers are set up are.... Type________ Condition___________ Action 1 Once_______ Random 70%________Group Active (AAA1) 1 Once_______Random 70%_________Group Active (AAA2) 1 Once_______Random 70%_________Group Active (AAA3) This is repeated 30 times. Will it work the same if I do just do Type only one time Condition one time then add the 30 vehicles in action. Type_________Condition________Action 1 Once_______Random 70%_____Group Active (AAA1) _____________________________Group Active (AAA2) _____________________________Group Active (AAA3)

howie87 I have thought about that alot. I have been looking for a small keyboard like the cdu but have not found one yet. So I just using Helios but there is nothing like pressing a real button.

You can mod them to your liking in the same way people edit the skins. Here is a good step by step video on how to edit skins.

One of the reasons for the IT guy was to help me set up windows 7 remote access to my fathers computer. I cant get it to work. But I got logmein free to work. The other was to strip down Windows 7 so that it would run better and make sure there would be no problems connecting to the server. I looked at what you said in MP and your right it is easy to do. I going to try this weekend to see how it goes.

Thanks PeterP. Some time it takes my 50 reading before I get these things. To me the MI8 zooms out way to far.

I think the ghost terrain he is talking about is.... Go to the very edge of the map and the terrain is not clear. Make a test mission at the bottom right of the map and you will see. It does the same for me.

You will need to edit your view Lua file. Go to--- C: drive / DCSWorld/Config/View....open the Sever.LUA file (with notepad++ if you allready dont know) and go to line 92 (I think). change - CameraViewAngleLimits ={20.000000,120.000000} I have set the last numbers to 140.000000 Thats what works for me. The first set of numbers is how close you can get and the last is how far back Note that DSC does not want you to edit these files because thay want you to edit them in you saves games folder. The read me folder will tell you what you should do.

Remember this is a GAME. The consumer should have the option to have what ever language he or she wants in there cockpit with out having to mod the game every time there is an update. If the game is to be sooooo realistic than any one that does not live in the USA Should not be able to buy the A10c or A10 or F16 Or F18. Or anyone living in the USA should not be sold any Russian aircraft modules. When the the game ask what language to use during installation and there is an option of what language to use in the cockpit. That option should work.:thumbup:
