  1. Yeah when I see their modules go for as low as 2.99 my heart breaks a little. It's like riding pass a local store with big yellow going-out-of-business sale - everything must go sign. On the other hand, ED usually put their modules up on sale a few weeks before a major release. This probably ain't it, though.
  2. These tutorials by Tigerpwrr are easy to follow. Most tutorials on DCS A10C are confusing as they assume you have TM Warthog and familiar with boat switch, coolie switch, curry switch etc. The tutorials below tell you which key to press on your keyboard. Maverick missils part 1 V1IoF2xKBCI 2 c6b8-omBruE 3 25MgpCEe114 CBU 87/97 bombs part 1 tM4ePou3fKY 2 vdn9aHS9ZO0 and that GUN! 9OgA9suszYQ Now go create chaos. :D
  3. No. Really? It has been that long? C'mon ED lift the veil and entice us.
  4. uhhh-huh. Feeling of flight is where none can compete with ED and is why am still around here and I've been here since mid 90s. :D It'd be fun if it was possible to do something similiar to blind taste test with ED modules. :D

    Anime Thread

Growing up in Thailand we just called them all, whether in the form of comic books or animated tv shows, Japanese cartoons. They were the best. Here are my top three back when I was around 11 or 12. Cobra (manga) Microman (manga) Tiger Mask (anime) I even made a mask just like it. lol :P ttndwyst-Xo
  6. I had seen several high performance automobile engine with piston sticking out of its oilpan, and recently saw a hole on the side of honda cylinder block punched out by a piston. The Honda owner said he heard some sound and then his engine was ded.
  7. Feeling of flight. Most of my flying is nap of earth. I like to zoom around mountainous regions. Banking, turning and avoiding becoming a pancake. :D Also, taking off and landing never get old to me. Can't wait for carrier ops.
  8. I have lots of invisible stuff.
  9. It was a thing once. ED posted a couple of F16 cockpit pics. I wouldn't count it dead just because ED ain't talking about it.
  10. Oh, dam. lol He got me for 3 seconds. Seriously, if ED got the license to do this...wow!
  11. Get one of these designed by Burt Rutan. My dream aircraft. MDGUY5BOWpc
  12. On that one day when EDGE is released...
  13. Even the stuff I burned to DVDs, I've no idea where some of them are now. I'm not the most organized person, unfortunately. I vividly recall sitting here thinking I should back up these models but I never did. I guess part of it is I always add this and that to them and figured I'd back it up when I'm 100% satisfied. Another part is I just didn't think this would happen. I have a ten-year-old HDD that's still running in this system, and the WD where I stored all the models is only four years old. I don't know what the hell is wrong with me. It probably takes less than ten mins.
  14. All my 3d models are gone. Anyways, thanks. No, I don't have friends with a pc to hook it up to. I'm not sure what happened exactly, but windows sees that drive now but it's empty. It's a WD 500 gig black but windows only detect 465 gig. No idea where 35 of it went and I really don't want to fiddle with it anymore.
  15. After installing windows 8 it doesn't see one of my drives. In Disk Management it shows up as "Disk 1 Dynamic Errors". Reactivate Disk didn't work. The other option wants me to format which I definitely not gonna. What I do?
  16. No, I meant Star Trek. :P I was responding to Call911's post where he hoped disney doesn't ruin Star Wars. I was just saying Abrams made Star Trek quite entertaining for me so I trust he'll do the same with episode VII. :P :D Yes, Pandorum was awesome!
  17. I figured it out; it was actually pretty easy. Microsoft has a free tool to make bootable disk.
  18. Here are the parts I bought to replace my dead computer. Gigabyte Z97X Gaming 3 + i3 4160 LiteOn S900 128 gig SSD I don't have money for OS so I downloaded Windows 8.1 Enterprise 90 days demo. I should have enough money to buy genuine serial in three months. Now, how to create bootable DVD and install Windows 8 to this SSD? Is there something special or step(s) I should be aware of? I just wanna do it right the first time.
  19. Be careful, there are Migs in the sky!
  20. Chronicle (surprisingly good) i-M5Qx57_UU I'm a sci-fi guy who couldn't get into any of the Star Trek films until Abrams directed it. That trailer you posted already has more suspense than the Lucas' three. I'm gonna watch VII at theater alone and be a kid again. :)
  21. All right I think I over reacted after glancing through these reviews. These tests made it seem as if the lesser brands would die prematurely when in fact, an average user would never move that crazy amount of data on his SSD. So, I should just go for the cheapest one regardless of brand.
  22. Here's a test I saw yesterday. http://ssdendurancetest.com/ Whoa, that 840 pro costs 94$ more than same capacity sandisk.
  23. Ahh. I listened to the vid again and indeed he said the pro SSDs don't suffer this problem. Thanks for pointing that out, Bit.
  24. Might be old news to some, but this problem affects the 840 EVOs and regular 840s. They're also butt-hurt expensive in this country as well and I was saving up for a Samsung until I came upon a few articles. This one has a video discussion of the problem. http://www.pcper.com/reviews/Editorial/Samsung-840-840-EVO-susceptible-flash-read-speed-degradation-over-time Anyways, it appears Sandisk and Intel make some of the most reliable SSDs out there.
  25. had to google that one. u had me there. lol
