  1. Doh!...that makes much more sense ofcourse... Thanks for coming back to me on this.
  2. @FalcoGer I just read this comment that you made some time ago. Do I understand correctly that you need to pull your throttle levers back when taking fire?…Can you tell me more about this procedure? Thanks!
  3. Thanks @corbu1and @TZeer…that’s what I needed to know.
  4. I guess you would need to have some kind of center detent to know exactly where to place your joystick after trim…and you need to be very quick to avoid the control jump. That’s what I have as well. And the ‘Joystick without springs and FFB’ works very nice. Do you use the Force Trim release button every time you reposition your stick? Because I think it’s benefit/ impact is quite limited with our setup.
  5. I don’t think the ‘Instant Trim’ and ‘Centre Joystick Trim’ options are meant for self centering joysticks with springs. The ‘Joystick without springs and ffb’ option is probably the one that works best for you since you are using a springless, non centering joystick. Please someone correct me if I’m wrong
  6. For anyone interested, check out this mod for the Trustmaster Warthog: Demo Actual mod It's a very cheap non destructive modification that makes the TM Warthog function like a joystick with clutches and mimic the trim in real helicopters. It does require you to disassemble your Warthog base which can be a bit tricky and I recommend applying Nyogel when assembling your Warthog again. Basically you remove the big spring and raise the gimbal slightly with a couple of washers. This way the friction on the gimbal increases making the joystick stay in place where you put it. You can adjust the amount of friction by tightening or loosening the 8 screws on top of the Warthog base. I can move my Warthog easily with one finger and it just stays in place. I have done this mod a year ago with the Virpil 20cm extension and it massively improved my helicopter flying and sense of immersion. Credits goes to Horus-DCS
  7. +1 I believe the option to engage some kind of CW or CCW Orbit flightmode while in CPG seat would be highly appreciated.
  8. Good idea…I just tried it out and it seems to work…except the prompt on the KU scratchpad is flashing…which seems to make TP go crazy…all buttons on the KU page are flashing as well…. So perhaps it’s not possible. Not a huge deal. At the moment I have created voice commands in Voice Attack. When I say “Copilot” or “Gunner” it triggers button press 2 and switches to the Gunners seat. VA also adds a value to a file somewhere on my computer. When TP notices that this file has changed it automatically switches to the CPG panel. Using the same method I have created different voice commands for every panel so I am always free to switch without having to push a button. On my main page in TP (where I select the different profiles for different aircraft) I have added commands to delete the files that are created by Voice Attack. This way I always start with a new, empty file. It’s a very simple, basic solution but it works very well. Just let me know it anything I wrote is not clear or if you have any questions.
  9. Hahaha...Don't worry!...I know the feeling...that's why I had to mention it...
  10. @xoomigo I’m trying to figure out if it would be possible to trigger an automatic switch to the pilot or cpg KU page as soon as there is the prompt is flashing on the KU scratchpad. For example: I’m in the Pilot seat with the Pilot left panel active on Touch Portal. I want to change the gun range from 1500 to 800 mtr. I press the LSK on the MFD and the prompt starts flashing on the KU scratchpad. Can I program TP to automatically switch to the Pilot keyboard page?
  11. Great work Xoomigo!...I really like the new Apache panels. I have created a Voice Attack command that switches to the correct panel automatically when I switch seats in game. I did notice a very small mistake in the CPG keyboard unit. On the "On Event" tab all events are linked to the Pilot instead of the CPG. It's not causing issues at all because the action is only cosmetic....and it would be a lot of work to correct because you would have to change every keyboard button seperatly...so don't worry about it. Thanks for this panel...I can imagine it was a lot of work to make.
  12. Although it's not mentioned in the patch notes it looks like it's fixed in the latest OB update 2.7.6.13133... Thanks guys!
  13. Hi!...I hope someone can help me. I am creating a cockpit livery by combining parts from other cockpit mods. So far all mods that I have used work nicely together and I am having a lot of fun creating my own personal cockpit. I think the windows in the Huey are still a bit too clean so I would like to include This mod which contains two windshield textures. I would like to use the texture that has the dirty wiper smudges. I tried to include the UH1_glass_refl.dds file into my personal cockpit livery. I renamed the file to UH1_glass_refl_mod.dds and made sure the description.lua included the following line: {"UH1_glass_refl", 0, "UH1_glass_refl_mod", false}; Unfortunately it doesn't seem to work. My windows still look exactly the same as other cockpit liveries that use the default windows. I have only limited knowledge on how to create/modify liveries and I am learning on the go...so I might be doing something very stupid but maybe somebody can help me. I will include the description.lua of my 'Franken'-cockpit for your reference description.lua
  14. Just checked the link and it seems to work now.
  15. Thanks for your reply...maybe next update.
