  1. Latest being Update 3, or a new update following Update 3 ?
  2. Very nice, can modifiers be used also? For instance I use warthog throttle mouse slew button as modifier and joystick CMS button forward and backwards as flare and chaff buttons. To use the script I'd like to use the modifier with CMS button for scripted countermeasures and standard CMS buttons as single flare/chaff.
  3. No Sir, thank you !!
  4. This is more aggressive stepping effect with panning then small stutters seen in the terrain passing. I use trackir smoothness at 50, speed 1. If smoothness is low, your panning much faster and it's less noticeable. What are your settings at. Also can you test with F-15 also please, Su25 etc, apart from your Mig-29 test I'm not sure if you have tested as we mentioned. It's not the terrain stutter when trackir is disabled, it's the cockpit head view panning that is causing stutter ,stepping with the frames, looking left and right. Looking I up and down the effect isn't as aggressive. But looking left and right, it's stepping/stuttering the frames. Ie, trackir motion is no longer smooth transition looking left and right, it's stepping/stuttering. I've got some time this weekend to test, so I will load 1.2.5 to a different directory path and test again. As long as this won't conflict with saved games directory and files. Thanks
  5. Very nice, might also be be the way to get flashing wing tip light mode working also.
  6. Speaking of FFB, not wanting to go off-topic here. But where is the config file that's shows it true or false enabled? There are files related to it's settings ffbtune but no longer a file such as producer.cfg I wonder if the two are related to the cause at all... Stab in the dark.
  7. One thing that I found in interesting slightly off topic, was turning anisotropic off in nvidia control settings, made the terrain look horrible almost like low scenes. Anyway back on topic Windowed mode, no change. I even played around with view.lua values, minor change. I changed nearly every value, and saw no change, as soon as you are over land at say 2000ft, it's bad. It's almost as if the view panning is 'stepping' in increments when panning. Very straining on the eyes, and this was at 40fps. I set maxfps to 29' it actually was the same if not worse. Could someone here on 1.2.5 post the contents of view.lua, I'd like to look at a comparison. Can't be bothered loading 1.2.5 again
  8. I believe lange_666 said it occurs also with mouse view panning. I've disabled cockpit mouse view in view.lua, tmrw night I'll enable, disable trackir and test further. In 1.2.5 the issue isn't present, and I've tried everything so far I know of that might be a cause. I have a fresh install , all latest drivers, etc.. Anyway I'll leave this to the other thread for now as Kuky has responded over there so hopefully investigation is continued there! and this thread is left to FC3 feature, system issues.
  9. Is everyone using fullscreen mode here, or windowed. Let's eliminate this. I'm running fullscreen. Due to SoftTH and multimonitor's. Same with the others, I've tried lua fps changes, vsync changes, view.lua edits. Nothing changes it. Have cleared all view commands in profiles for all controllers, even disabled cockpit mouse view control. In 1.2.5 the view panning with trackir was smooth, and the terrain appeared to slightly skip or stutter along at low frame rates. Now it's the opposite, at low frames the terrain movement is smooth motion, but panning the view with trackir, the view panning skips/stutters almost every 5 degrees of panning horizontally.
  10. I have to check out this JSGME. Is this similar to a modman package?
  11. Might as well add this to the list so someone pays notice. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=113775 1.2.6 cockpit panning view behaviour changed with frame stutter introduced.
  12. I've seen this in past also. Not recently though.
  13. This whole thread outlines it, but to cut to the chase it's a frame stutter issue with the cockpit view when panning left right of the HUD. With mouse and trackir, there's a frame stuttering issue when panning slowly. It isn't present in 1.2.5 and only appeared with 1.2.6 and further updates. It's most noticeably below 60 frames.
  14. New update is out. Can someone test to see if this issue is still present? Not at game pc for few days.
  15. No idea but it's porked, and slightly peeved no one has noted that it's been seen and will be raised with ED to be addressed in the next patch.
  16. Im thinking outside the box. In fact where has the producer.cfg file gone, earlier versions this is why had FFB settings but it's now gone. I jus tried everything still with no luck, guess I'll just wait another month for new version and hope this is fixed .
  17. We've been discussing this in this thread. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=113775 Has this just happened for you in 1.2.6 since you connected the FFB stick? Ie, was your view lag absent in 1.2.6. prior? What happens if you disable FFB in game and don't use the stick. Can you revert to your old stick and test again. This is interesting as I'm wondering if the two might be related. I saw some lengthy threads that ROF users had the same issues some time ago with FFB and trackir. Look forward to your test results.
  18. Interesting. :book:
  19. Plea to ED Testers We really need ED testers to help out here and request from ED if they can address what ever has changed with this, and if it can be raised as an official bug to be corrected. What they have done with 1.2.6 here needs to be addressed. Please guys, puhlease!! 6000 views, and I don't think one tester has commented here as yet?
  20. Locate and load up your latest IDE Controller drivers, mobo specific ones.; then test again. In fact locate all the latest drivers for you mobo and update. Are you up to date?
  21. Yeah ambient not so worried, Diveplane has done a great job already, more so Startup sounds like linked here would be Schweet. http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=1835049&postcount=193
  22. Will this hopefully come with a new sound model, cockpit systems and external ? :pilotfly:
  23. Proper HDR support for multimonitor's would be the bees knees. :music_whistling:
  24. Yeah the 4770 would compliment that new card nicely. I guess I'll wait.. Wonder how far away 1.2.7 is.
  25. For the sake of fixing this, I hope so. :music_whistling: At present I think I may upgrade to 32GB ram to see what further improvements occur with ram caching. I'm also curious what happens if trackir runs on second core with different affinity. At present my gut tells me this is all related with the 64bit LUA changes and memory caching, or... I'm wrong and a dev can report on it...
