Bitcoin malware can do this. There was a report the latest Utorrent software had this enabled. I've also seen a process in task manager behind this after installing a game from a friend of a friends as per se. Check task manager when this is occurring. Download malware bytes and run a scan. Viruses are not so much a threat anymore, it's the malware and Trojans to watch out for.

OK thanks for input. I downloaded all the latest Modules and latest DCS World last night. (gosh I havent touched DCS for a year). Tonight I'll install then try out DSR at 4k resolutions with Titan SLI. This should give me a good idea of frames and resolutions before I burn the wallet... Made some calls today; seems stock is low on AX800 65" :(. And no one seems to have 58" version.. :( -

Any further information on that? From reviews on DSR I've looked over so far, they appear to indicate that there is marginal difference between DSR oversampling and native 4k. -

Dilemmas dilemmas, Have you guys tried using DSR on the screen in 1080p mode? This would be one way to get higher fps I would think on the screen with comprosming too much on image quality. ie; 1080p screen mode; apply 1440p. I wish I could take my machine to the shops to test; but its just too darn heavy; and the laptop doesnt have displayport. It seems on one here in West Australia at present has the 58"; only the 65". Is there any chance you guys could take a screen shot fron on of your desk and screen in cockpit of the jets(other aircraft) so I could size up requirements; outcomes. PM me if possible. Would be much appreciated, -

AX800 looks very very tempting. Just which to go for is going to drive me insane. Thanks I'll check it out further. -

700 Series; though they only have display port 1.2; and HDMI 1.4. I have to use DisplayPort for 4k bandwidths. I'm currently contemplating throwing both GTX Titans on Ebay this weekend to pay for GTX980 SLI. QuickSilver; I'm also looking at a cheap 1080p 50"; though the one thing that will drive me mad is resolution of reading the guages, etc. The Panasonic 4k Screens seem to be the only ones that support 4:4:4 Chroma in 8Bit using HDMI 2.0/Displayport at present? -

I've been using a 4 Monitor setup for some time; And I think it's better to go to 1 screen rather than use SoftTH to get more out of the cards and fps. I'm just stuck with a dilemma of what to get; 55" approx, but 4K or 1080p. Be interested to try DSR on 1080p -
Guys, whats your opinions those with this screen already ? I'll likely sell my Titan SLI shortly and go for SLI 980 GTX to get the HDMI 2.0 Display port 1.2 compatibility. I saw this screen in the shops and the picture quality was phenomonal; but for PC it's hard to get hands on comparison. The next best thing would likely be a 1080 p screen; but Im not sure what provides the best clarity; text; reading gauges; etc..

I always have SLI on but use SoftTH, vsync off, game fullscreen and get 30-53fps I turn everything optional off optional in game but keep cockpit shadows, fullscreen on. Everything max, water low. I also use current drivers version after the cards release drivers. Left most monitor is always the primary monitor. Not sure if that helps you ?

I vote for the return of Friday updates ! :drink: I'm getting curious if we can see some dynamic action taking place soon with the new scenery and eye candy being tuned. :) I'm happy to see ground explosion effects, or an assortment of fireworks. Can we get a preview of the some new particle effects if any. :xmas: How bout it ED? :worthy:

Try DDU Utility to remove all nvidia binaries, then indtall 314.22 or try 332.21 after a reboot. Nvidia forums are full of these problems since above. strangely enough I dint see this happening until 335 drivers and coincidently 1.2.8. I first thought it was 1.2.8, then perhaps fog related with the specific card and drivers, then thought it was an EDID and driver issue, even check temps and clocks. Whatever it is, either Nvidia don't know, or aren't saying.. A there doesn't appear to be any confirmation of what is causing it in their driver releases. Damn annoying though.. Strange thing however is I only se it in MP. so there's a relationship somewhere at a guess? How to find driver version: http://www.nvidia.in/object/drivers_faq_in.html

While they are at it; a fix for HDR would be great too ;)

AMD Catalyst 14.6 (Beta) Drivers

You sure? Looked like landscape best fit expand tricks only... Ie fixed center monitor adaption. http://www.anandtech.com/show/8058/amd-catalyst-146-beta-drivers-now-available-adds-new-eyefinity-functionality-more Ps. I stand corrected, PLP to a degree., that P monitors are restricted to the height of the L. Ie, I can't benefit using this :( We need a solution expanded on SoftTH, :( https://www.dropbox.com/s/paw7svzogjal553/2013-02-02%2017.57.15.jpg https://www.dropbox.com/s/w1tuvn9w0yjyjnh/2013-03-14%2018.46.32.jpg -

I noticed this evening command LAlt-C enables cockpit mouse cursor, no switches or dials look to be interactive as yet though.

Wow, no notice here either. Have a read of this http://forums.overclockers.com.au/showthread.php?t=1128742 The original article was removed for whoever knows what reason, perhaps it gave would be novices the description of how to attack a network, and how effective it was. It sounds similar to the eBay report your link. Very concerning for private data.

This, http://hornetpits.org/index.php?topic=123.0 Was an interesting thread with the output.

Yeah same problem noticed here. The fact it occurs in a heavy MP session leads me to believe they haven't fully fixed the memory leak/DXRenderer issues they indicated were fixed in the recent RC change logs. I think it was RC2 or RC3 this was mentioned Perhaps.. This is associated with directx9 code, which isn't playing nice with recent nvidia drivers? I guess you'll only be able to tell, once you jump into a fully populated server. Last time I saw it in RC3, it started happening as soon as I was 5-10mins into the server. Stupidly I'd put the latest drivers on, just prior to.. And then after I reverted back and tested again but the server wasn't as heavily populated, so I haven't done a real full on test check as yet. Guess there's a playing field to being testing from..

I completely reinstalled, as saved games folder I believe are configuration files only. All dll's, etc are in the game directory itself. After I had problems with the game crashing at load on the desktop after uninstalling and reinstalling nvidia drivers, I thought best to uninstall completely, reboot and reinstall, so that any hooks are fully disassociated.

In my sig. I have corsair 800D case which works well, custom watercooling.

High watt PSU never hurts. You can always buy a power outlet watt meter from your electronics store to measure what your system is doing at idle and load. I recently borrowed a friends and mine measured 880 watts at full load.

I meant it would be nice to be added, not that it would...
