/play rooster call sound Good job.

It's annoying, but yeah keep speed to 130 or under on touchdown with nose pitched at 10degrees. You'll be flaring at that point so stick forward to stop over pitching above 8-10 degrees and you should be fine. You can get out of the script bug by flaring hard but you'll smash the tail stabilisers. At least you can taxi and repair if that happens. It must be one heck of a trivial bug for them if it hasn't been fixed yet. Parameter script must be tight. Hope it's fixed soon, or further modelled with AFM like Su-25/T landing style. Be great to see tire blowouts or landing gear damage model collapse.

Solved. It was lod value I had changed.

Hey guys, Do I have a texture/model problem here with Russian missiles? Jumped in the Su-27 for first time and missiles have been replaced with toothpicks. see image attached
-
The 476th youtube channel has some excellent Jink demonstrations that can be utilised effectively to spoof missiles.
-
Interesting, what effects did that have? I see its a friction ring I believe. I might remove it, clean it up and then re-glue it back in place, whilst I look for a replacement.
-
Did you remove and reattach, or remove completely? Assume you reattached? I see over on the warthog forums someone has made PTFE replacement rings. Have to PM them and see If still they can make them.
-
Does anyone know if replacement rubber rings as see n here can be obtained? I took mine apart tonight for general maintenance check, and noticed that this ring has shifted and the underneath metal is exposed on one side. Worried this will start biting into the plastic gimbal ball now if I don't address it soon.

Clear definition is one thing, English translation is another. It wasn't clear, and I see no? mention of it being DCS:F-35 Module but more mention of it being Standalone and built on the DCS platform. Plans could be anything if its not clearly defined. But I assume since it will be compatible with CA, then it has to be compatible with all modules in MP. .. All good, me being picky and curious how it will rate in the end in the DCS Battlefield, lol
-
Yep thx, bad habit of skipping the intro and going straight for the content. The content wasn't exactly clearly defined how I read it, which is why I asked. Eg, ·MULTIPLAYER. Available through DCS World, allowing for online interaction with other DCS pilots and Combined Arms I assume this means interaction with DCS World and its other modules. Catching up on the kick start info now. Small criticisms, higher pledges would have been nice to have some more juicy contents( color printed manuals or apparel).
-
A yeah just saw this mentioned in their overview, in that case I'll provide my pledge support tomorrow, and also ask my friend to post a link on the ADF bulletin boards.

So this will be primarily a standalone simulator with altered DCS code base, based on the old engine when its released, not a future module or compatible with DCS WORLD? I didn't see it mentioned what the future really is with this project. Will it be a module, and work with EDGE in a years time, or is it as I seem to understand purely a standalone product that allows multiplayer only with other F-35planes. Maybe I've missed the explanations where anything could happen in the future on that part, rather than it become an endorsed Lockheed supported game/simulator. Images appear to show it as a module, but there is no mention I saw of it being a 'DCS module', rather a standalone simulator based on DCS World and it's code base. Sry, me playing curious cat and devils advocate here, and catching up on latest news..

Titans are selling like hotcakes here in Australia which is interesting.. All major suppliers h ave resupplied and already sold out in two weeks. I was looking at I buying a second card but was waiting for my paycheck, now I have to wait another month for resupply. :( -
Because consistently the max G they rate the jet at in training is 7G yeah ? 9G avg rated; sure you can go for gold, but not every pull all the time. It'd be a random failure event I guess. But he like the A-10 a fast speed pull over G goes 'snap', but would it really unless under duress stress. Yeah sorry not really a control issue, I went off topic somehow there, must be the red. :music_whistling:
-
I'd love to see maximum wingframe-G random failures. :) Ie, an F15 pilot may get away with <10G pulls for most of his flight time, but those occurrences above 7G would calculate a random failure event probability the next time he exceeded that rate. Or calc sustained high rate- smooth linear increase, against an aggressive instantaneous max rate.. One after another... And hence crack it, and snap that wing off, lol, there's a full departure event. Would sure keep pilots on their toes and wits, before going for greyout all the time as much as they could max the jet, or any jet for that matter :music_whistling: :)

What!? So you want a aerodynamic FCS model modelled, or aerodynamically matched near the physics of AGL atmospherics to match reality without using a supercomputer in your bedroom. LOL
-
Damn right!
-
Respect  I don't doubt your frustration dude, positive patience goes a long way. And ED will deliver.
-
Sorry mate but I have to say how immature your sig is(i mean this in a polite way). We are all die hard combat sim enthusiasts here, and I don't doubt you are also. But there is no other product out there head to head with ED's products. We need to provide them support to continue to help them provide the product we want. Would you rather call it as donation or a contribution to support them, or not support them at all for the one of the best combat flight sims out there that we have the privilege of enjoying. Kudos to ED, the testers and supporters for their continued efforts no matter if there are some issues here and there even if they are bloody annoying in some parts being bugged. Im sure there some complexity in fixing them and work arounds at present, or milestones nearby for them being addressed. We are lucky enough that A10C was allowed to be released for consumer use. We're a die hard breed of simmers, so lets support the die hard breed developers and producers wherever we can. Sincerely....

Thanks for the updates Matt!

Any update on the F-15C landing bug, or will we need to wait for the module for this to be corrected?

Currently my single Titan is using approx 4.8GB VRAM over four monitors at 6696x1920, if that gives you an idea. -
You have a common rig to mine and I can agree I see those issues also when flying the A10C low. With ground clutter on, it gets even worse even with TSSAA off in NV. Turn off transparency AA in NV panel as well. My final results here which is best compromise for me with eye candy http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=1782253&postcount=20
