Not sure if this is an editor or server question. Is there any way to store data, maybe as a txt file to keep track of which players have destroyed certain targets?
-
Thanks for the reply. Interesting idea and I might have to go that route. Right now that won't work because for targets, I am using the default buildings that are on the map as soon as you start the editor. The idea is for players to destroy all the buildings in an area. When they hit the right bldg, Display a message that the mission has been finished.

Is there a way to keep someone from taking the track file from a server, renaming it to miz and opening it in their mission editor? I would like this to prevent someone from finding hidden targets locations, then going on server and destroying them.

Can someone post a discord invite?

Build your fleet. Place all escort ships in same group as carrier. Place aircraft on deck, can be ai or static objects. Edit/Save Static Template. Start New Mission. Load Static Template. This will place all objects in their original positions. When you drag carrier to new position, everything will go with it. You could then add more copies of you fleet till you have four, then save that as a new Static Template. The only issue with all this is if you change the carrier's heading. Only the objects on the carrier will move. The escort ships need to be re-positioned individually. Make sure your statics are linked to the carrier or you will not see them on the deck.

I think you nailed the problem. At least, I hope so. I changed all my " option to allow other commands to take place while it is processing" to on. So far, so good. Going to fly for a while and see how it goes. Thank you.

Top. Even when daisy-chaining was turned off, switching profiles to use a commands not in VP would also cause the issue.
-
I tried it daisy-chained to Baileys f18 and again with my own custom profile. Same thing. I also would sometimes see it recognize the command Wilco. Hook up sounds nothing like that. I always have the option to allow other commands to take place while it is processing turned off. was never an issue.

This is definitely a new issue since the last VA/VP updates. I spent the last two hours trying to troubleshoot what it could be. It seems to be connected with having more than one profile installed. Whether you daisy chain or just switch profiles, it causes the Listening Resumed/Listening Suspended to become reversed. This happens on both joystick and keyboard bindings. This also happens with dcs not running.

Yes. That is the one I was using. Got it all working in Max so all good.

Need help getting AI to respawn using radio after initial spawn
HungryCoyote replied to GR00VYJERRY's topic in Mission Editor
I am away from my computer till tomorrow. I will post the script then, but ya I did this using mist. My AI only respond when I used the radio menu and they spawn each time at random locations within a given trigger zone. -
The dcs 2.7 update broke my Cobra. I was unable to get the collision lines to work correctly. It would just sink into the ground. So I switched from blender to max and started over. So far, so good. Now I need to figure out how to get the blurry blades working again. bandicam 2021-06-11 10-26-31-822.mp4

New to modding so I thought I would try and convert one of the many high quality 3d models already available. Model created by Andrew Swihart at Arion Digital using the AH-6J by Nibbylot as a base. External is coming alone nice but cockpit needs a lot of work. Cobra vid 01.mp4

Is it possible to turn off/disable the display of AI plane's landing scores? Not the human controlled scores, just the AI.

Rename .miz to .zip. Open zip file. Open mission file in Notepad++. Delete references to required mods. Keep in mind that anyone that does not have the mod will see strange things like instead of the Hercules, they will see an Su-33 with the missing texture green pattern.

Looking for an F-18 Case 1 track file.

Just a heads up. These tracks do not work in 2.7. They all crash into the sea. I now have to go back to my old win 7 computer to use them. -

It could be map specific. I have a Caucacus and Persian Gulf installed. -

Exactly what I was looking for. Thank you. How often do they actually give you an OK? That looked real good to me. I watched it from the F2 view and your back wheels touched down first. -

Thank you. Unfortunately, your track does not show up in my Replay list. -

I have already used that. While it is an excellent training video to show me what I am doing wrong, I think you are missing my point. I am looking for something that has already been done right. Like watching a training video but I can look at it from any angle not just where the creator of the video happens to be looking and analyze it that way or take control it any point.
