Hmm.. My experience with the AIM-9M is pretty good. I always take 1 when flying the F-15. And that one almost hits every time i shoot it. I always try to shoot it in between 2.5 and 1.4 miles. Make sure the target is not turning to sharp before firing and lead it. And if you are firing head on you have to make sure the closing rate of the target and you is not to high. If so you have to time the shot more early. But i always fire it against human pilots not AI.

There is a extra button for wheel steering that lets you make tighter turns. I think it's left CTRL or left SHIFT + S. But i'm not sure.

I was thinking the same. First it seems impossible and it will frustrate the hell out of you. Than after a couple months you come to understand the dynamics of flying the F-15 or any other plane in DCS. And you will finally see result. These last 4 months more and more online players became considerably better. So i approach every bandit now like i'm flying against 104th or 51st guy's or any other super good pilot i know off.

Some people turn ECM in in the middle of a fight to confuse the attacker when it's hectic with multiple bandits. I think they do that because they know most people won't go lock a ECM target when that close because they think that ECM signal probably comes from a bandit more far away. I have been tricked like this multiple times trying to look for a solid contact on my radar.

Some wingman Business. I did panic a little searching for the AIm-9 i did not have at my first kill. Because that SU-27 was flying ridiculous slow and flying ridiculous low my AIM-120's kept missing. I wasted alot of AIM-120's and a AIM-7 there. So when i closed in i was looking for a AIM-9 to fire. I always have one. But not this time.

I know the autopilot works. But i could never get it to work myself. You have to keep the stick neutral or something? So please somebody explain step by step how to use the Autopilot in the F-15.

Make your plane replace the F-15 instead of the Mig-29s and voila you will have the US warning sounds.

If you download that software will it just capture your screen and send it to Twitch? Or do you need other hardware for that?

Yup. You have to get A-10C for the clickable cockpit experience.

Can somebody send me a PM on how to STREAM on Twitch and Youtube. Do i need a video capture card? Some specific software and a webcam? Are the applications payware or freeware? I would like to stream when i play. I dont even reallyc are if it will be popular or not. Just want people that are interested to see some flying. But i have a annoying voice. So maybe not a smart plan :).

No launch override on F-15. You don't need it anyway cause the AIM-120 doesn't hit anyway on max range.

Playing the night mission on the 104th server. Good fun and really different. I think its pretty hard actually. But i had a superb Sparrow kill. The landing was shameful. Maybe pre-landing checks are needed next time.

Now i'm really curious why. For me that could only mean there is one reason for it. ED is going to surprise us with a F-16. Otherwise i would see no other Logical reason. * Why because of BMS? Do only they have the right to make a detailed F-16 for a simulator/game? * Classified > I can partially understand this. But a BMS level F-16 would be ok as well right? * To hard to make? What i have seen fro ED is that nothing is to hard to make :) They even making the F-18C. That should be on the same level right?

Are you not allowed to use old addons and convert them to new DCS versions as long as you don't distribute them freely to the public and use it for personal use? Or am i just plain wrong here? Ontopic: That F-14 looks amazing. I was wondering the same as you.

Yes it's possible for a 3th person cinematic view in MP. But... The server should allow 3th person/external views.
