  1. He is right. i once had killed somebody with a 30 miles shot and got hit by a 30 miles shot. The key is to turn early. If you see him climb for you even at those distances start evasive right away. Most times i start cranking them from that altitude around 22 miles while trading altitude for energy. This way you your closing rate will be way higher. A lot of people don't expect a closing rate of 650/700 miles and react way to late. But it also can work against you. If you don't know what you are doing. If he fires when you are going 650/700 that missile will reach you way quicker than you think. I overlooked that aspect a lot, so started going evasive really late. To late. Also when approaching a bandit it's not smart to go head on in most cases. Especially when he has a wingman. "Crank" the guy's (keep the locked up targets in your radar gimbal limits) turn in at high speed when at 14 miles and fire when lined up and go straight back cranking him in the same direction or opposite. Depends on what the target is doing. But be aware, targets that are paying attention will fire at you when turning into them. But if you have enough speed that incoming missile will be easy to defend against. One major rule when playing online: Always expect the opponent to be the best of the best. Unless you watched the player list before :) When 104th is on the server, be super careful. When Wodan, =C=, Stuge, Ober zeist, 108th, =BK= clan, =RAF= clan and some others i missed, be super careful as well. It will end up in a cat and mouse game if you are good enough against those guy's. But that's the only thing you get :) And always fly with friends if possible. Your survival rate and kill rate will go up significantly.
  2. Here again some flying we did on the 104th server. It's hard to keep track of your wingmans. Especially if it's more than one. It probably requires extensive practicing. But no documentation can be found on BVR as a team. Any tips/tricks pointers we should keep in mind when flying in a group? Watch learn and criticize. We need that feedback to get better. Enjoy.

  4. Hmm weird. Most times the server is full. What time did you try to join the server?
  5. Listen to this. I finally came to understand why speed is life. Off course i used it before. But i start to learn why it is life and to comprehend why it makes a difference now and use it to your advantage. Better late than never :)
  6. Left CTRL+F10. Even if there is no map marker you know exactly where you are. :)
  7. There go's my dream of a Modern air combat game because of some stupid WWII module. Or it will just take 10 more years. This can only bring doom. But i still can't believe people would actually pledge 40$ and think they would get all planes in full PFM fidelity. Unless they knew this was going to happen. I did not pledge anything because i knew it was impossible to go give all those pledgers all the PFM fidelity planes that where promised. Please all just cut your loss and forgive for once so we can all keep flying Modern and WWII planes.

  9. Wutt.. Tuco I'm little lost now. This section should be about general FC1 and 2 questions. Flaming cliffs 3 forum is here: http://forums.eagle.ru/forumdisplay.php?f=321. It does have its own subthread on the main forum. And it also has individual threads for the modules within the FC3 thread. But i'm actually not sure what you want or what you are missing.

  16. A well. We having fun. And never had so much random people to fly with in years. We will get there some how. For me the hardest part is concentrating on everything at the same time. It's hard to fly yourself and think about the others as well. Especially when they don't know what to do themselves. But some day's with the right people we are super effective. But than the other team leaves quickly :(

  19. Thx. EWR is a big mistake. I'm going to change that right away. I knew that. Must be brain fart. And changed "death zone" into "blind spot". Yes with ECM you dont get a cross. But most people wait for burn-through anyway.
  20. About Raygun. If thats correct i will change it. But i was always under the impression that you had to respond with "buddy spike" or "clean". Not request for buddy spike. But anyway. This is just to keep it easy so they have a idea what is being said. About taking off. That is why i said depending on the server :)
