I am confused. If Ka-50 is using Shkval, in Lomac it's like, you can see everything with it in night (at least vehicles and stuff) and use it pretty effectively. How come then BS is supposed to have only "limited night attack capability"?

Well, the mechanic was either talking rubbish (unlikely) or there was a little communication problem there between you two (likely).

Actually, this is modelled in LOMAC. EM's have better performance against low flying targets then say, R27-ERs. Yeah, it does makes some sense I guess. :)

I don't think it's possible to nail someone from behind with an ET if he's flying ABs at app. 30-40km, in LOMAC that is. Anyone actually tried this=?

Maybe so, but the Iraq experience proved having tanks and all the latest weaponary sure as heck won't bring you victory. IMO, it's a lot less about the numbers, more about the way you employ/use your available assets.

It may be your video card overheating and causing Lockon to 'hickup'. It may be used up system resources for whatver program(s) running in the background: memory, fragmented hard drive etc. Just my 2 cents.
