  1. Hey guys i read all this. I need help. Is there an updated profile here for all dx buttons for thrustmaster warthhog throttle available for download where every bug is fixed (pulse, axis, everything functional as it should, also middle positions and everything mapable for dcs) to use an own profile ingame? Thanks for your expert help and suggestions and support. Can someone pls upload or link a download file for target in this case? Simcerely yours, Missile Launch!

  3. Yeah its really horrifying. Yes shimmering is totally extrem in VR, did try so many settings and tweaks, none does really affect to get rid of shimmering. Shimmering sucks and is hardcore annoying. Carriers, ships, buildings, planes, everything is kind of shimmering, even with all Anti Aliasing settings (MSAA, SSAA, MFAA by Nvidia - Settings) VR Shader Mod also doens't help to stop shimmering, Reshade Mod also doesn't help, its related to the game and its techniques. Shimmering can really be frustrating and sucks, and every "VR" Video on Youtube, does not represent the real looking VR View a virtual pilot really has, it's represents the captured mirror on a 2d monitor or the track file with ultra settings for DCS uploaded for Youtube called something with VR. Its like false advertising. Hopefully ED does seriously work on VR or is paralel trying to rework the whole simulation for DCS next gen.

  9. Hello Wingmen! The VR shader mod runs very well, DCS VR Shaders mod for 2.7.0.4625 (Clear Water). Most time like 95% i fly just in mp and in with my flight squadron. I have a simple or maybe not simple question. After every update from DCS, i have to reactive the shader mod via JSMGE/ (is nearly the same like OVMGE) Does work out. Usually i dont have to delete FXO and the metacache folders in C:\Users\Blabla\Saved Games\.... And the map folders in DCS Main Folder. You know what i mean. But when i first start the game, after a fresh update of the dcs beta client, It tooks very very long to start the game, very very long to load a terrain for the first time (SP + MP) Then when im in the game, i have first invisible cockpit, and the weapons are missing, after like 10 minutes, everything works properly. Someday i had read somewhere why it does take so long...and that this could be fixed(Is issues where things load, and repeats some stuff for 4-to 5 times...- Programm Lua C++ stuff and way to high for me. Does anyone know or does anyone work to get a new reworked version of the shadermod without loading times up to 10-20 minutes for the first time? Any possible solution?   12. Hey guys there had been a new mini updater update. Both shader versions doesn't work right now, at least for me. I had this error dissapearing trying to start DCS.

  16. Hey guys, again for today i had 3 VR HMD crashes in a row. For the first Mulitplayer flight session, i could nearly fly for an hour, we had been practicing case 1 approaches, marshal stacks, with more flight groups etc. After leaving marshal stack for "signal is charlie" ... we were on srs, had our catc, lso and everything, then my VR HMD crashed. HMD goes black. DCS Mirror still runs, but no tracking. Then restart Steam VR, caused crash Error 203. Then restart Steam VR, restart DCS, rejoin and then in a short time it happend again, and again. This time every 5 minutes. I ve been NEARLY CLOSE TO FREAK THE **** OUT, cause of this ERROR. Still no solution, and this error is definetely reproducable. I am, a Steam VR (Valve Index HMD) Owner. I don't use WMR, never need to, and i don't use any ocolus software. This has definitely something to do with DCS and its use of memory, vram etc. Before of the release and 2 updates of DCS this error never appeared. It doesn't only happen on the syria maps, this can happen on every map. Easiest way to reproduce it, is to just join a 4ya server or any other servers with 20 players+ to start on a carrier, best pvp and or pve, with a heavy load. Then just fly, switch to external views, to a plane far away in a heavy load scene, then switch back to your cockpit view, than to a flying missile view... repeat that, and then it's just a matter of seconds that your HMD goes black. HELP HELP, DCS is not playable anymore without a solution.

I can start and fly mp, when i switch to external views or to F10 map, HMD goes black, then Steam VR crashes, and dcs still runs with the mirror window in a kind of low fps style. I tried Steam VR repair, deinstallation, re-installation could not fix the issue. Also enable\disabling VR shader mod, DCS repair etc. I also updated my nvidia graphic drivers twice. Latest WHQL Builds. Still the problem occures very often in DCS. Before i had never problems like now. Is there any solution. I also googled this issue, and it seems to be a steam VR issue. The only one work around is to avoid, to switch views on heavy load scenes. But still this error / bug annoys and can be frustrating, with steam vr crashes, after restarting the HDM (Steam VR) DCS also quits. And this suddenly occured with the release or update since the syria map release. Could also be a steam VR update...Before i never had these issues. DCS had been running "well" in VR. Still ED pls put mor effort in VR users to optimize performance etc. My PC specs: Intel i7 7700K, 32 GB DDR4, Zotac RTX 2080 OC Valve Index VR, Thrustmaster HOTAS (Joystick & Throttle), 2x Cougar MFDs, Wheelstand Pro + Monstertech Table Mount Combination

  20. Hey guys, is there a plan to improve or update the shader mod? The last shader mod is working well, but i noticed an issue. Don't know, if it just occures on my pc or not. I fly the F/A 18C and inside the Hornet cockpit when i use the HSI or SA Page on any DDI (left, or right) when you set a CRS (course) as example in a landing pattern for the carrier to set the BRC. Or when you place the TUC in the SA page on a target or friend you see details showing up in the right down corner on the ddi. There the informations are overlapped. In carrier approaches you cannot read the distance between the plane and the course, or the information which aircraft you interrogate on the SA page. I noticed this issues also in the older version of the VR shader mod. I already repaired DCS, or disabled and enabled the shader mod, recompiled the FXO, metachash etc.... But the issues doesn't dissapear. Any solution or recommendation what to do. If i disable the shader mod, the issues dissapears, but the performance is shitty.   22. it works well with the DCS World 2.5.6.49314 VR Shadermod (both versions. Clear water and IC pass) With the latest Beta Vr Shader mod DCS World 2.5.6.50321 version it occures a game crash at start (both versions don't work) :cry_2:
  23. I could fix the problem with it. No we have the new update from dcs. Stable version from 24th july, it still works without problems.
  24. Thx a lot for your quick response to my issue. Also a lot of thanks for the VR shader mod. You did a great work, and it improves so much performance in DCS, hope ED does honor your work, and hopefully they include the things officially to DCS for the VR pilots. I downloaded the files, from your sig, repaired my DCS, did delete all meta-shaders, fxo shaders, and terrain files, like in this video I will report later, will try both out, the one with clear water and the one without. Hopefully, this will solve the problem. Good flight
