  1. I’m sorry I simply do not believe it was this hard for a 21 year old kid to kid this bird off the ground. I think it is currently borked
  2. I don’t see any European theatre ww2 aircraft on the horizon at all sadly? I know there is talk of a Hellcat and Corsair (lovely) but can’t see any others coming anytime soon?
  3. So then we need a mk2 spit and a bf109e4 then we have the Battle of Britain. plus a couple ai He-111s.
  4. Also telling other RAF pilots were not so keen to fly it. They were desperate for typhoon pilots around Normandy and asked the spit pilots to volunteer. Nobody did. partly because of the huge loss rates against flak but probably also party because the tiffie had a rep as a difficult beast
  5. Are there actually any plans to improve the Normandy map still? it is remains probably the poorest map
  6. Seriously - 24 cylinders, four cannon, rockets - a scary unreliable engine and a tail that could snap off at any time. What a wild ride. Would be a brilliant module.
  7. I can’t see another ww2 prop aircraft on the near term horizon?
  8. B17 is not really top of my list, but I’d argue ED should be developing this pronto if they want to get more cash and players into this game. Masters of The Air - the next band of brothers - is under production right now . https://warbirdsnews.com/warbird-articles/masters-of-the-air-production-beginning-to-unfold.html ED could use the increased interest created by this show to attract new players if they had a B17.
  9. It does look pretty average compared to other maps. Probably the lowest quality of the lot. All the colours are washed out for some reason.
  10. There’s at least one project to get a flying tiffie back: https://www.facebook.com/www.thetyphoonproject.org/ the other reason I like the typhoon is so many countries have some history around this machine. Often pretty brutal given the work was attacking ground forces in the face of heavy flak. Sure it was a British invention, but the nature of the RAF at the time means so many pilots from around the world flew it and used it to liberate Europe. Australians, Canadians, Kiwis, French and Belgians.
  11. There’s no flying examples of k4s and D9s and yet we have those. typhoon just looks a brute. The donk was basically two engines welded together. 24 cylinders!
  12. Ok. Thanks. I still haven’t seen any trains or traffic at all but.
  13. Weird I’ve flown around quite a bit and have seen no traffic whatsoever. strange thing but when I was about to start up at an airfield today I could hear cars driving past but searching the map could see none!
  14. Any idea where? I’ve followed a lot of rail lines and ain’t seen anything
  15. Hey are there trains and random vehicles to strafe in this map? I ain’t seen anything
  16. I’ve been playing online. Really good but the flak over those French ports Is murderous!
  17. “Bag a hun for me skipper!”
  18. Fantastic aircraft. Pretty clearly now we need ground crew with similar functions to carrier crew.
  19. What kind of capability is this module likely to be released with regard to cas ability? Jdam? Or guided bombs of some sort?
  20. I’ve had a couple issues lately where I’ve been unable to pick up choppers on air to air radar but can lock them up air to ground. I can then lock them as moving targets on my tpod using point track. is there a way then to quickly hand this off to an air to air misfile to shoot them down?
  21. Beautiful aircraft. Carrier ops. Charles de Gaul carrier too please
