Resolution is 1600x900 DCS runs ok with one aircraft currently. But put a few in there and it shits itself. I'm guessing Normandy will be ultra taxing

Fellas. PC noob here. I'm thinking about getting a second hand graphics card (maybe a GTX970) to get within a bulls roar of running Normandy in some way. Any thoughts on the shortest and cheapest route. My specs are below. Cheers in advance: Windows 10 Home 64-bit (10.0, Build 14393) Gigabyte System Model: X58A-UD3R Processor: Intel® Core i7 CPU 950 @ 3.07GHz (8 CPUs), ~3.1GHz Memory: 6144MB RAM Available OS Memory: 6142MB RAM 2x AMD 6800 series with crossfire.

Perhaps the greatest danger for allied pilots over Normandy was not other aircraft but flak. Any idea if the ww2 pack will include German 88s, 20mm or quads?

Any word on changed damage models? Will the b-17 for example need hundreds of 30mm cannon to bring it down?

The stock sound is more like my two stroke lawn mower. Nothing like the real thing unfortunately.

The F4U-4 is just about th sexiest warbird ever. Those beat up looking ones surplus from the end of WW2 they used in Korea. Just mean unbridled power.

Not to mention the fraudulent business of someone taking a lot of money on Kickstarter with lavish promises then suddenly disappearing without explanation to the paying customer! We never did quite get a full explanation of how that went down.
