Could we maybe get a response from the developers on this please? Whether they think Urga should be completing Normandy to an acceptable standard before working on another map? Thanks.
-
This is my position also. Sorry. I would very much like to buy the f18 and other maps but not until the modules I already paid for are completed to an acceptable standard.
-
Yes the developers (Urga media) have moved onto another map. Which is very annoying. It would be nice for them to finish and fix this one first before moving onto another.

What does that mean? No good for Running DCS at a decent rate? The other concern I have is that this is Australia. Cooling matters. -

Good questions. I’ve also spent a bit of money on dcs ww2 and would like to know when all those assets promised will arrive. P47, Me262, etc. I won’t buy any other dcs modules until this situation becomes clearer. Many thanks.
-
It would be nice to see some proof of progress on damage models. I’d like to invest in things like the Charnwood campaign or to buy future aircraft but that makes little sense until the damage models are sorted out.
-
And any word on damage model and me262?
-
Would it be possible to see some evidence the remaining and promised ww2 assets are still in development? We haven’t seen any real evidence of this is in a long time. I’m worried the whole dcs machine has now shifted focus to the hornet and the p47 and me 262 have been forgotten. I’d like to buy the hornet but am relauctant to given my frustrations with the ww2 assets. Thanks.
-
Wow. Didn’t realise the F4U was that far progressed. I’d be tempted to buy that if I could see some sort of reassurance the damage models and the rest of dcs ww2 were being worked on.
-
They can build and complete the aircraft 3D model and cockpit while also researching the flight model.
-
No mention of badly needed changes to damage models either. Can we ask about that?

Excruciatingly slow downloads!

Honestly I'm giving up. I think I will walk away from DCS at this stage and come back in a years time in the hope the whole thing is out of alpha/beta and is running like a modern product. -

No I've tried the http download too. Still super slow. Very slow downloads being reported by many people on other forums too -
Have DCS 2.1 but no Normany Map or Assets-Tickets No Help
nick10 replied to MADLOU1's topic in Bugs and Problems
I can't find the Normandy terrain either. Seriously, you need a computer engineering degree to run this bloody game. For simple people like me who buy things expecting them to work without having to employ a software engineer, how does one open a power command prompt? -

As a postscript. Bought a second hand gtx 960 for $100. Installed and the gain is huge. Might now go shopping for cheap ram!
