reported JF-17's signal strength is always at Max - RWR Bug
Nahen replied to pauldy's topic in F-15C for DCS World
Of course, JF was still closest to the center of RWR from the first ping to show last ping. -
reported JF-17's signal strength is always at Max - RWR Bug
Nahen replied to pauldy's topic in F-15C for DCS World
Only from 100km? JF be show on RWR from 250nM (near 300km). Compare AI vs PLAYER - E-3A AWACS, JF-17, F-14B, F-15C, F-16C all planes on 20 000 altitude and head to head course. AI over Sea F-15C Player (Me) over ground heading AI planes. E-3A on RWR - 230 nM JF-17 - 255 nM F-15C - 115 nM F-16C - 75 nM F-14B - 54 nM They are AI dummies, so the result of the F-14B is the most surprising. I assume from experience that the "human" F-14B should shine from at least 70-80 nM. In any case, this it gives a sense of injustice when compared to JF-17. I ignore the fact that JF is otherwise damn hard to "catch" by radar. -

In the F-15E certainly do not. Completely agree.

Please show me which machine models in the entire DCS, and not only those from RAZBAM, are finally finished and not in Early Access?

Did I write somewhere that WSO is the F-15E pilot ?? Can you tell the difference between "pilot" and "F-15E pilot"? - it's a pilot and it's a pilot. Can you tell the difference between "driver" and "formula one driver"? - it's the driver and that's the driver. Can you tell the difference between "doctor" and "vascular surgeon"? - he's a doctor, and he's a doctor. Can you tell "soldier" from "special forces soldier"? - he is a soldier and he is a soldier. Can you tell the difference between "ship" and "aircraf carrier"? - it's a ship and it's a ship. Someone else doesn't understand?

Quite an interesting approach;) The flight models in many modules cannot be specifically called a simulation - especially when it comes to speeds, energy recovery, maintaining energy during maneuvers, etc. So I would not call DCS a flight simulator as such ... Another thing - DCS - Digital COMBAT Simulation ... Where are we talking about anything other than simulation in non-combat conditions? Maybe you should spend more time in MSFS or Flight Simulator ?? In this "system" 99% of airplanes / helicopters - I will be silent about Combined Arms - are combat / military machines. So I expect that their parameters, equipment and the way they are used will be primarily oriented towards their COMBAT APPLICATION. And the fact that someone is looking for something else here ... well, it should in no way affect the BASIC ASSUMPTIONS of this "simulation system". So if a plane is used 99.9% of the time in this configuration, then we should get one, if it is still a Digital COMBAT Simulator. I know that there are those who buy Arma3 to race karts ... There are also those in DCS who fly sports / aerobatic machine mods. I do not forbid anyone. But if about 1% of users of this system is to make the rest of the users get something that they do not need to be happy ... well ... It seems to me, on average, appropriate. If RAZBAM at the end of the production of the F-15E is to devote time and energy to satisfying unnecessary frills, I am against. And so we have been waiting a long time for this module. To delay it by the invention of unnecessarily disassembled CFTs. Better be RAZBAM spend this time on perfecting the flight model, the work of weapons systems, etc.

Unfortunately, with such "gamma" settings on which I fly, there is no chance to find a tanker in the F-15C at night without use radar And I don't want to fly on the "gamma" which allows you to see normally at night During the day, the radar is turned off at least 15 miles from the tanker and I never approach in the axis of tanker. I'm always incoming from the left side to the left wing. But the night has its own rules Sometimes I open the chassis under the tanker and turn on the taxi lights Sometimes I use the Sidewinder warhead I assume that the tanker crew wants to have children in the future

F-15C and rest of the FC3 planes are dead for ED ... If other studios / groups, such as RAZBAM, HEATBLUR, DEKA, MAGNITUDE or others, want to make the F-15C in the future, maybe we'll see ... someday ... But I don't really believe it ...

Don't think so...

I do not understand that someone can take part in the discussion and do not take the basic trouble of reading it from the beginning ... Already a page or two ago, someone uploaded photos of the F-15E without CFT, a few people wrote about the fact that these are cases from very individual situations. But every two pages of this topic someone pops in and repeats something that has already been said ... and again ... and again ... Maybe it is worth reading what was written before, so as not to write the same next over and over?

Can you distinguish between tests, air shows, inspections after repairs or service - from the normal use of the plane? I will tell you something - DCS - Digital Combat Simulation - is it ASS - Air Show Simulation? or TES - Test and Egzamination Simulation? Or maybe AATS - Advertising and Arms Tenders Simulation. I do not think so...
-
What is DCS for you? A simulator or an arcade game? The F-15E HAS NEVER FLYED WITHOUT CFT. THE F-15E HAS NEVER BEEN USED IN COMBAT AS AN AIR FIGHTER - ONLY FOR AIR COMBAT. It is a strictly assault plane which, due to its design based on the F-15 airframe, a large part of avionics, and the same family of radars, has retained full BWR and WVR air combat capabilities. But HAS NEVER BEEN SUCHLY USED IN AIRFIGHT. Compare the number air kills by F-15C with the number air kills by F-15E during the wars in Iraq. As far as I'm not mistaken, the F-15E have one air victory ... with a bomb ... What does that mean? That these planes always fly under the umbrella of their own air cover and, as a rule, in conditions of air superiority - although specifically this plane, its mode of operation does not require operating in air superiority conditions. It can be sent to the area where the enemy's air force is active and still perform / try to perform ground attacks. But no one will ever send him on any combat mission without CFT. How many times can write about the same thing? You can always talk to the guys from WarThunder or Ace Combat and have fun there without CFT after they take them off.

And the pilots are ?? Oh, and one more thing for landing visibility "from the first cabin"? Have you heard of ILS and limited visibility landings? The second seat has everything you need, you don't need to see anything through the glass. And in order to take advantage of this, navigation is the key. Tell me, what is my task of "flying a plane" when I am doing a private pilot's license to occasionally fly for recreational purposes? In your opinion, I'm not a pilot? BRAVO!! Forgive me, but you write such stupid things that half the world of pilots reads this and laughs. Especially the recreational and sports pilots ones. Again - in the back seat of the F-15E there are people who can fly airplanes who have undergone aviation training in "driving" an airplane, air navigation, radio communication and everything that is needed to fly an airplane. The fact that they are not fighter pilots, do not have "pilost wings" on the mudura, are not called pilots does not change the fact that they have these skills, they acquired them in the training process which is confirmed by appropriate certificates. I understand that the driver is only the one who drives professionally, and the one who uses the car to drive children to school and go shopping - having the driving license - is not a driver. So much for my part, because I can see that some things are not understandable here.
-
And you continue yours ... Yes, you are right, the second seat in the F-15E is not for a pilot, is not for people who can pilot a plane, only the for guy who has a uniform ... Not only that, the manufacturer of this plane put there an unnecessary set of controls only for earn (always this is two sticks, throttles and pedals sold) - probably not even connected them, because there are sit here people who do not know what it is. And reporters ofcourse. Congratulations...
-
Once again - I have not written once that the WSO is a pilot by the standards and allocations of the USAF. From the very beginning, I say that the WSO is a person who has undergone flight training - he can fly a plane and, if necessary, is able to take the helm and fly the F-15E. Therefore, in its part of the cockpit there are duplicated controls. If you think that WSO has no idea about flying, that he is not trained in flying training, then your problem. But you can always believe that reporters are hired to fly on the second seat of the F-15E ... Coming back to the topic of this thread - The pilot is so dependent on WSO that as of today the F-15EX does not actually need WSO. But he has a second seat to transport reporters if necessary
-
Great argumentation No matter what you know and what you learn, what you wear is important;) I have to borrow a pilot uniform from my younger brother - I will be a pilot: D Another argument is getting smarter ... Well, since the reporter was seated in this place, in fact this place is only for random people who just happen to come across. Why training etc? After all, you can always put a reporter there on a combat mission ...

In addition to pilot and RPA pilot training, AETC provides Undergraduate Combat Systems Officer Training; this training takes place at NAS Pensacola, Florida. UCT combines skill sets of the legacy Navigator, Electronic Warfare Officer, and Weapon Systems Officer pipelines to produce an aviator skilled in advanced navigation systems, electronic warfare and weapons employment. The Primary phase of UCT utilizes the T-6A and focuses on teaching students the fundamentals of instrument and visual navigation, while developing airmanship, and building a foundation of mission management skills.
-
And who said / wrote that WSO is a fighter pilot ?? He is a PILOT - he is a person trained in the ability to drive an airplane. He has documents for this that he obtains during UCT training. It can take off, fly from A to B and land basically any plane like most trained pilots. Just in case, I will add that, of course, he must know the details of the cockpit and the parameters of the plane he is to fly. RIO training with the F-14 does not provide for this. Is it so hard to understand?
-
Are you going to argue with that too? https://www.aetc.af.mil/Flying-Training/ What is the T-6A? In my opinion, the training plane on which the USAF pilots learn what ?? FLY? As I wrote, those who pass the selection become "real" pilots of combat machines. WSO simply can fly - he learned it at UCT. I suggest you report that they lie on the official sites ... Still no difference between RIO and WSO?

Rudder will be when I have finished the seats (my in F-15C version and second ones for one of my sons in F-16C version) plus I will make the front panel of the F-15C and finally replace the monitor - so far the sons have got three new large monitors Now it's slowly getting time for me. My computer, cockpit, etc. are always at the very end of the to-do list And the worst thing is that one of my sons is waiting for a tank simulator The construction of the M60A3 cockpit is getting ready And Coca-Cola can never be too much And finally, some Coke holder / hiding place will also be found;) Maybe in the place of the oxygen cylinder by the armchair

Translator + my knowledge of the language is more than enough to say that some people do not understand that the pilot is not someone who flies the F-15E, but everyone who flies planes - Boeing 737, Pilatus, Cessna, replica P-51D... you may not know but these are also planes ... to fly, you need to have documents confirming that you have acquired this skill - I do not know about you, but with us it is called a pilot's license. And it doesn't matter whether you graduate from an elite air force aviation school or do a pilot course with your own money. Each of these routes ends with obtaining a pilot's license. And WSO must have such a license - it must have a document confirming that it can fly an airplane - that it is a pilot. I know that in the USA, in order to dig in the ground for a water pipe to a depth of 1 meter, a team will come and be dig, but deeper than 1.5 meters, you need to have another level of "professional promotion" - qualifications, and another team that can dig must come up from 1,5 to 3 meters ... But in most normal countries, a guy who has building qualifications and digger qualifications will do the right thing as far as the excavator can reach. I am not interested in officer ranks, markings etc. used in USAF aviation. WSO is a man with documents confirming the completion of aviation training as a result of which he can fly / drive the planes for which he has been trained. For normal people, this means nothing less than a PILOT. I would like to see RIO with the F-14 who ends his military career and stays as a pilot in Lufthansa or SwissAir without a license ... And it just so happens that the WSO with the F-15E can do it as he wants. He it only needs practical training in the fields that is specific to civil aviation, training for another type of aircraft, but does not have to make a pilot license from scratch. So yes you are right I don't know, I don't understand who a pilot is and what it means to be a pilot ... I guess only in Antarctica you can fly with penguins by plane without a license ... although I'm not sure what the penguins themselves say ...

Kiowa is the only helicopter I plan to buy ... I hope it will work out someday.

In the UH-60L mod, there is no problem with that either;)

Thank you, but half-measures in the matter of simulation do not interest me
