  1. It is really need to be corrected. Almost all other DCS modules have more less good audio (Su-27 one the best!). I watched so many videos of Bf109 (I downloaded 50 of them for now), than I can recognize the sound of inverted 12 cylinder Daimler-Benz from all other WWII engines. Engine sound is big disappointment for me now. It is like to drive Bugatti veyron with the Suzuki engine inside. (with no offence to Suzuki motors).
  2. Please move this toppic about electric fuel pump into "Bugs and Problems". P1+P2 are able to feed the engine when the engine is actualy running.
  3. Leading edge of coolant radiator is not moving. It should move accodring to RADIATOR flaps setting, NO landing flaps setting.

  5. Definitely I have to be modified in next patch. Can’t see temps, rotor blade angle and circuit breakers are also mostly hidden behind it.
  6. Ok, if you explain the sound of Junker Jumo 213 this way, Im OK with your mod for Dora without any other complains. Im glad that you spend time on it and we can now enjoy at least very similar sound what it should be. :thumbup: About the Bf109, I still would love to at least try to change some sounds and its settings. But I have NO idea how it works in DCS.:helpsmilie: So if someone or you diveplane can help me to understand to it, I will be very happy.
  7. Ok, I would like to start new Bf109 Daimler-Benz DB605 SOUND MOD http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=2263670#post2263670 sorry diveplane, but I have higher demands on DB605 sound authenticity.
  8. Finally the recipe for my takeoffs founded. Tune rudder axis with bigger curvature (25-30), for whole runway ride try to KEEP STEERING NEEDLE IN CENTRE - GENTLE RUDDER CORRECTION BUT IMMEDIATE, WHEN CORRECTION APPLIED LATE YOU WILL END UP BURIED IN GROUND. Today I did succesfully 7 from total 10 takeoffs. Same thing can be applied for Dora.
  9. Can somebody adapt this mistaken Fw190D engine sound mod for Bf109K-4? http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/894551/ Luckily for us, the producer of this mod wasn’t able to distinguish sound of Junkers Jumo213 and Daimler-Benz DB605. Now we have sound mod for Bf109K-4 and its DB605.
  10. Simple: Su27 vs F15 Su25T vs A10C Su25 vs A10A Mig29 vs F16 - missing Mig21 vs F4/105 - missing Mig15 vs F86 Mi8 vs UH1 Ka50 vs AH64 - missing One side is clearly missing some planes, to be adequate opponent in combat. So PLEASE NO OTHER USSR PLANES WITHOUT ANY COMPETITOR

Hello What I wish most from DCS now (with improved FM of particular aircraft waiting to be implemented soon), is the massive improvement in simulation of avionics (RADAR, ECM) with most aspects what can be possibly programmed in simulator. Now is still more arcade than simulation. Yes, question is that how many percent of customers wants more arcade type of game and how many wants more like real world. Now I’m very curious about the Mig-21BIS, which should be introduced with more detailed model of radar. I think that if this model will work fine, that it should be used for other DCS aircraft too. From my point of view it’s much more important than some better looking 3D models or terrain. What do you think?

  13. Hi I have one tipic to discus, and that is the navigation lights. I recently started to fly multiplayer on servers and I noticed, that it’s very difficult to find wingman separated from me 1nm in the sky (even with NAV lights ON). My suggestion is to slightly increase the size of the lights, but with dependence on the day time and distance. Night - brighter, closer – brighter. May be the same problem I had with mission Su-33 carrier landing, where I switched to night landing. The lights on deck were so dim, that I saw them only just about mile and half before landing. Greater distance and brightness would be great. I’m not sure, that this thread should be on this place under the “bugs and problems”. So if admin think otherwise, please move it.
  14. I tuned mouse axis to less sensitive and curve less steep,than its OK. But before I start using mouse, the actual keyboard buttons for moving TD actualy move narrow scan zone L,R also. (still talking about FC3, not FC2) Keyboard buttons are better for using for me. Id like to have mouse free for sightseeing around external view. But with fast movement of TD as it is from keyboard now, its only way out.
  15. Hi I want to point on problem in FC3 about controls of target designator on radar screen. At A-10C and Ka-50 its working all right (sensitive enough to pick single target of the large group of vehicles). But in FC3 this is not tuned, and single keyboard command to shift designator to right or left will move it fast, so you can’t pick your desired target from formation. I have tried almost every way to move the designator slowly, but with no success. Even if i mapped the vertical and horizontal movement of designator on mouse axis, than I’m not able to shift narrow scan area to left or right (in narrow STT mode and TWS). So please, fix this to the next update of FC3, best will be possibility to tune it personaly somewhere in DCS. PS With this problem, weak F-15C radar, TWS in F-15C guiding AIM120 to target only VERY roughly (sometimes not at all, even with bandits on radar), and all think about AIM120…the fight with F-15C very problematic. Many of guys I know left F-15C and starts on SU-27, which is also my case. But this should be discussed elsewhere, sorry for that.
  16. You were right, since Im calling my wingmans to turn on the radar, I didnt have any friendly fire again and on top of it, he is now helping me to find bandits. So no bug at all. This thread can be deleted. Thank all of you guys!:thumbup:

I analyzed one of accidents and noticed that at 7 minute of flight time, my wingman is keeping his nose pointing on my plane, firing AIM-120 and after that moment he is finaly directing himself to real bandits (here two Mi-24). Small change of course but still Im sure, that he launched the rocket against me, not helicopter. What a shame, that I dont have flight record to see if I have been locked by his radar or not. So another testing will follow this evening. Friendly_fire.txt.zip
  18. Yes it could be the problem, today when Im back home, I will check the track in Tacview, if I was locked by the wingman's radar or AIM-120 itself. And also I will try to call this command without AIM-120 loaded under AI wings.
  19. Hello Yesterday, when start to play some of the F-15C single player missions, I have been shot down many time by my wingmans. Again and again, everytime when I call them to "cover me". It seems to me that they cant recognize that Im friendly plane, not enemy. Someone with the same experience?
  20. Still no clue about what is the reason for that TGP weird behavior. When testing, I noticed another two issues: 1) When locking target with laser ON from long distance, when come closer, the SPI point is behind the real target (depends on the targeting angle). So it seems to me that from distance the laser measuring is usless or very inaccurate. 2) Lock target again with TGP and make one pass behind some hill or cliff. For me the SPI change the position from target to edge of the cliff at the moment of lost direct contact with real target. WHY the hell the A10C cannot remember the SPI coordinates? This is very annoying!!:mad:
  21. I tried again few minutes ago with same result. Lock target with TGP and laser ON and make it SPI. Than maneuver plane pointing nose 30 degree around the target and see what happens. The TGP camera rotates willdley some time and than you get new wrong possition of your previosly designated target. It not has to be only behind...could be 50 meter in front of the real target.
  22. Hi Have anybody the same problem as I have? When I lock target with TGP as point and with help of laser make it SPI. After that that I start maneuver plane, and strange thing happens. The SPI point on the TGP screen is than far behind the target. I noticed that this happens only when I manever plane pointing nose above trgt....lock target (make it SPI)...nose of plane pointing before (under) the target and than back to level flight. After every maneuver like this, I have to correct the possition of SPI. Any help? Sorry for my English.
  23. Hi everyone, I have a trouble with moving view around cockpit with Freetrack off. When I want to move mz view outside of the plane, no prloblem at all. When there is enough dark in my room, to be able run Freetrack and its IR diods, everything is OK. Enyone with the same experience or with solution? Beside of buying the new curtains or playing only at night.
  24. Hello Is there anybody with Freetrack working on 64bit system? I heard that with beta4 version it is possible.
