  1. Cool! Where did you get the screenshots, bro?
  2. Downloading now from the HTTP links on webshop. Just want to say that some of the FTP links in both USA and Germany have a password on them. eg. ftp://ftp1.files.eagle.ru/dcs/software/DCSWORLDEN/DCS_World_en_1.2.1.5970.exe
  3. Repost and it is the Vikramaditya.
  4. Strangely they left out Gorsky's most famous picture. Tolstoy.
  5. I heard they're polishing the damage model for the ga... ehh... A-10C and the thing they call the "Pony". They're going to look great falling out of the sky in bits. Can't wait.
  6. Well this is an Ace move by China. Get an established Naval Aviation wing on what is a very cheap carrier for them. Then their planners can decide going forward what they need from that experience. They'll have the training and and all the other soft resources built up when it's time to send blueprints to the Shipyards for their heavy carriers in the future. It'll be interesting to see what this one will be fitted with in terms of ASM's if any. That'll define it's current role, as it does/did with the Kuz.
  7. I hear there's an ongoing discussion whether they'll simulate either the 'Brylcreem' or 'Old Spice' dispensers in the cockpit which all F-15C pilots have IRL.
  8. ^^ I vote permaban.
  9. More gifs giggity?
  10. That, plus it's basically a training and operations development tool. The Kuz Class does not lend itself to power projection. Not the scope needed for the Maritime areas around Mainland China and her neighbours.
  11. lol I remember when this was sold, ostensibly as a floating Gambling Casino. hehe. As if anyone believed that. :D
  12. Sea trials for the 'Vikramaditya' former 'Admiral Gorshkov'
  13. We do have one. It's called the MiG-29. :megalol:
  14. Fly them all!!! You'll pay for them so fly them!
  15. Old Tacviews. Aye.... I've got loads of old Tacviews showing dot spotters bracketing people in miles away with ET's, 120's etc.
  16. Don't mind them. Sure there was some here saying that the J-20 was a photoshop.... and they sure changed their tune when the video and the airstrip came out. :megalol:
  17. Something tells me there is a lot of underestimating going on.
  18. I always did wonder where Cool_T went to.
  19. Yeah deffo a noob. :megalol:
  20. There's more than just the obvious to consider. Fuel usage is something else... endurance. Flying around <1,000 metric destroys your endurance. Also, at this altitude you hand over more too much to Lady Luck. Some might find this a 'fun' way to fly. Also.... there is a psychological thing about it too. The human mind, in Sims, likes to see the green out front aswell all the time. It doesn't like seeing just blue. Makes it less comfortable to get a feeling for orientation. I've often wondered why newer pilots always seem to fly around a same level. It's because they still see stuff on the ground outside the HUD. They don't have an altitude figure in their head. Just happens naturally. I expect newer Mig pilots fly lower because of the lower set seating in the pit aswell.
  21. Noobs fly low all the time in 27/29/33's. Oh and also Hackers I've noticed. ;)
  22. You know... I always admire those 25/31 styles. Big massive Intakes, Strong squared off Wings. The epitome of Macho Jet.
  23. Well summer is near the end here. Evenings getting darker. I foresee many many hours hanging out of my stick getting to grips with the changes.
