So I have now got it all fixed, a more methodical complete uninstallation including the registry keys and then a reinstall and reactivation, strange set of circumstances considering all I did was a GPU upgrade (shouldn't have warranted a hardware code change) but I guess I must have done something else to pick up points, maybe there should be an inbuilt warning to detect possible issues like this. Anyway, thank you to all those who took the time to give advice, I'm back in the air and can finally try this out in my oculus rift thanks to the tridef drivers.

Deleted saved games, still nothing a complete re install doesn't repair it then not sure what will New GPU was a as routine as every other time I ever did it, and not sure how graphic setting can stop me taking control of the aircraft. this is completely baffling

OK, for some reason I cant do a print screen of DCS, all I get is my desktop.......more bloody confusion. What exactly is needed from the picture? the module is installed, I have a license key and there is a green tick in the box.

I uninstalled and reinstalled, not good, still not working and another deactivation/activation wasted.

I will report back after my reinstallation.

I can assure you they do not have the dollar sign, they are all activated, in mopdule manager they all show the green tick.

No, the problem is persistent regardless of whether it is a single player mission or anything else, it doesn't matter what mission I run I simply cannot take control of the modules I own and are activated, they used to work just fine and now they don't.

But they are all already installed and activated like I said, they were activated since I purchased them years ago and I was able to use them no problem but now I can't.

Actually I gave an exact description of what was happening, for some reason I am not able to take control of any of my purchased aircraft, beyond that I have no idea what has happened, how can I give information I do not know? I simply wanted to see if this is something somebody else has experienced, let's simply assume for a change you are dealing with someone who is pretty familiar with how things should be working, outwardly I see nothing to indicate a problem with my installation, all modules are installed and activated but I simply cannot use them, all I get when I try to start any mission is the F2 view so I can watch the aircraft under AI control.

is the purpose of your reply to be rude or are you actually not able to take the problem I have encountered at face value? I was happily playing DCS with all my purchased modules no problem and now I can't, everything looks normal in the module manager, only 2 significant events have happened between and that is an upgrade to my graphics card and a DCSworld update, my system is 64 bit.

Don't know why, but I simply cannot take control of any aircraft in DCS apart from the free SU-25, I have already wasted a couple of activations trying to sort this out but no joy.

I know, the quality in the WIP cockpits is stunning, those reluctant 3d artists can have a big sigh of relief and a beer, the reason I got enthusiastic about a DCS WWII simulator was because I had images in my head of my favourite WWII aircraft at DCS quality and they have not disappointed.
