Nope, and every time I set aspect ration in the setup it always reverts to 1.77777777777something

it does seem to be an aspect ratio problem, the 2 images don't stretch to the edge of the monitor.........I just knew there would be problems

Yeah, something badly wrong here, it is painfull to use and its not keeping any of the settings I make.

I agree, FSX is an awful simulator in terms of flight modelling, DCS is brilliant.

there must still be a big residual market from the civil flight sim market to capitalise on, nobody would have batted an eyelid if any of the mentioned aircraft were being made as payware for FSX.

I agree OR would not suit simpits, castAR does sound like a much better fit, in fact it sounds like it would be quite impressive, downside to simpits is that they are either dedicated to faithfully recreating a single aircraft or are a generic box full of switches and levers, I personally still find greater appeal in a VR recreation of the aircraft with a well thought out click pit functionality.

I think that before the end of 2014 we will get the consumer version, facebooks acquisition gives a huge budget to speed things along.

That's a fake, opportunists who surfaced the minute the facebook news was announced.

it's going to be a while before Facebook actually begin to screw Oculus up, CV1 is going to be better than initially anticipated and when it does go tits up VR will be mainstream enough that there will be other options feeding off the new components brought to market.

Yeah, I'm with the last 2 posters on this, Facebook can I'll afford to change the direction of oculus, they have invested in what it is now, changing it could jeopardise that.

Well let's hope they are truly invested in making this a gaming success, I say some development grants to flight sim developers would buy back some of my trust.
