I have a question that I feel must be a stupid one. I've seen something which appears to be a greeting or some showing of respect in various simulation forums, yet I have been unable to find out exactly what it means or why it is used. It's often put at the end of posts, but I've also seen it in the middle of a post. What I'm asking about is "S!" What does "S!" mean?

I play guitar, I sing, and I used to dabble in martial arts (until I took an instructor to the knee). Really miss it though.

I'm sure there will be an update to Modman after DCS World exits Beta. Possibly whilst still in beta, but I'd imagine almost certainly once it's gone gold. I suppose there will be some work required to figure out which mods still work. Edit: Gah Ninja'd by Joey!

I think the misconceptions come from the general perception that torrents=piracy. Many people, especially those offering illegitemate material are unscrupulous. As stated, if you trust the source, you'll likely be OK. I know I trust ED not to infect my computer.

If it works the same as Flaming Cliffs 2, there's no need to back up. Lock On on needs to be installed for activation of flamin cliffs. Once installed and ACTIVATED (remember to fly it at least once) you can completely uninstall the original Lick On

I think you get the activation window for any module you have installed, but not activated. I assume you have installed the P51 as well as DCS World, but have yet to buy the P51?

Although I disagree with most of the points in your original post, this is true with the caveat that we'd have eaten it up were it improved to the level of DCS modules rather than FC modules. I think 2 proverbs apply to this SU25T: "Don't look a gift-horse in the mouth" "You get what you pay for" (in this case, not strictly true, as we got more). Edit: Also, nobody's forcing you to play in the SU25T. If you've got the DCS modules, enjoy them. I know I am. I don't know if I'll ever bother with the SU25T, but it's nice that it's there if I want to dabble.

I'm sure ED would do just that if they could. It's better they do it the way they do it than not at all don't you think?

If you think that in this case, you're missing an important point. DCS: P51 has not yet been released. You have only pre-ordered it. As a bonus, they have given you access to the Beta. They're actively claiming that it's not yet finished, rendering that point quite null.

True, buying this doesn't cost fuel, but comparing the cost of the sim with the cost of fuel in our relative countries allows us to discuss how relevant the cost of the Mustang is likely to be in relation to what we have to spend to get by.

GBP 55-60 for 3/4 tank on my Nissan Almera (not exactly huge, but not tiny) GBP 24 for DCS Mustang I have to buy one. I'd rather buy the other. (probably will next week to be fair) Edit: haha! sniped by someone with similar petrol prices (or at least as close as I can get)

This is the part I can't wait for. Sure, the Mustang looks like it'll be nice, and I'm becoming tempted to buy it, but this DCS World is something I really like. I wonder if ED will release a beta version of the patches to make the A10 or the KA50 compatible, or if they will wait until DCS World is gold before allowing us plebs to save space :)
