I'm not used to reading "realistic" and "dragon" in the same sentence. Each to their own though. My tastes are too varied for my own good.

I'm a very "on and off" flyer of these. I often go and play more "gamey" games for months, but I always come back. I don't reckon i'm good enough for online though.

In keeping with the last few posts,

I reckon it'd run, but easily get bogged down once there's AI about.

I wish I could do that. When I get in a plane in that game, I tend to last about 30 seconds! I still haven't unlocked flares yet.

Apparently #hurricanebawbag is trending on twitter. I don't think it's actually a hurricane, but it's pretty windy and that's some good scots banter. I just wish my commute home today had been shorter. 3 hours instead of the usual 40 minutes! Update: The weather has been a real boon for the wild trampoline population!

Mine is me, doing something I love: playing a gig. Doesn't matter that the gig wasn't great.

The few people I know who have the desire to play something like this, don't have the facility.

I'm playing on PC with a 360 controller, so I get all the good points of both worlds as far as this is concerned (it doesn't control well with a HOTAS warthog). Never played Baldurs Gate, and I'm not sure I could handle it :D

I can't play DCS at the moment because I'm too damn addicted to this! Hell, the fiancee even enjoys watching me play this! 28 hours so far. I've never played a game so much!

Downloading now. Not many seeds yet, so should have it in a week.

IIRC, the X52 auto assigns the slider on the throttle, rather than the throttle itself to the collective.

I'll decide whether to be pleased after I play it a bit :)

Well that certainly sways me towards the "buy it" camp. I'd rep Nate and KillaAlf, but apparently I need to spread the love first. I've got to say I can really see both of the main points of view on this, probably because I'm somewhere in the middle. (Like a ferry between Dover and Calais:))

I understand that this may have been asked before, but this is a very long, and fast growing thread. I know that BS2 has a new campaign. However, does it include the original BS campaigns at all? I'm figuring out the budget for this (and possibly another SSD to put it on) I dip in and out of flight sims a lot, and would love to do the GOW campaign in this new version (assuming I can afford it) after I complete the deployment campaign I'm already playing.

I've got to admit I'm a little disappointed, as I didn't realise it would be a paid upgrade rather than a patch. Money is VERY tight right now (I go out probably about once per month), so I won't be buying instantly, although I probably will get this at some point. Is there likely to be any way to purchase this in other currencies, as I am charged extra for buying something in dollars? It is a little worrying if various modules are to be compatible in the future, as it could end up being a fair outlay to bring everything up to date with the latest product, although I do understand that this could be needed to support the busines, especially as there's a very demanding and particular, yet small, userbase. Edit: also with only 15GB remaining on my SSD, i'll have to wait until I can afford a bigger one. Much more than $19.99 :)

Semi OT I know, but how did you switch to IR in Black Shark? I didn't think it had any IR capability.
