  1. I care and you should care as well, how s*** get done. I, as many other Americans travel overseas for work. I don't want to be snatched by some government or rogue group somewhere and they torture me because that's how the "s*** gets done and nobody cares about". We should behave (which we often don't) according to the law's and treaties we sign. And every time we don't respect our signed treaties, NATO chapter and international law, other rogue states (and terrorists) see that as endorsement of their behavior. I don't want to go that way because it endangers my safety, safety of my family and friends as well as my country.
  2. He, he, he ... Yeah we show our "resolve" to li`l Kim by abandoning our original goal and go somewhere where we can use numerical advantage ... He, he, he ...
  3. S. Korea and USA blinked first? S. Korea Cancels New Artillery Drill on Tense Island Published November 29, 2010 | Associated Press
  4. First woman helicopter pilot in Serbian military aviation history!
  5. Is anybody making a Korean Peninsula terrain for DCS yet?
  6. Our congress just voted AGAINST paying for unemployment benefits yet we are spending gazillions of dollars sending our military to show li`l Kim our "resolve" ... In my mind, the message is: "You see li`l Kim, we can starve our unemployed just as you do it in your country!" And BTW, why don't we have Koreans take care of their own problem? Maybe they can ignore bad guys such as li`l Kim, and have good guys talking and resolving their problems.
  7. Ha, ha, ha, Sarah ...
  8. Then, why were you talking about "obsolete equipment"? The question is what we want to do and what we are doing with North Korea, not what "li'l" Kim does to attract more "attention". We defeated Soviet Union that was hundreds of times stronger and many times bigger then li'l Kim and his kingdom. With North Korea, we need to play smart, and that means more then just using hammer for every job out there.
  9. Every system has limitations. Unfortunately, pilots die even in airplanes that have ejection seats. Saying that ejection seat "never worked" is a bit harsh statement based on what facts?
  10. You mentioned North Korean "obsolete equipment" several times. Well, what does Al-kaida have in Afghanistan and we are still waging longest war in our history. We are spending millions of dollars a day to fight few hundred guerrilla Al Kaida members equipped with AK-47's. My point is "superior equipment" is not necessarily decisive factor in a military conflict. When it comes to Norht Korea, they have nuclear bombs and waging any kind of war with them would be very stupid. North Korean regime can be successfully defeated without firing a single bullet, but that depends on whether we want it to end that way. And by the way, I don't know if we have any money to wage additional wars. For every dollar my government spends, 40 cents is borrowed. That behavior is not sustainable and additional unnecessary war, war of choice, would make our economical situation worse and just embolden North Korea and other's who don't like us.
  11. Assuming that you have a job, did you know that you owe $124 615 in national debt? You and me work for first few months of every year to pay for the interest alone. This economical situation will not implode the country IF we take appropriate steps to prevent implosion. One of those steps is drastic cuts in military spending. In my view F-35 program must be cat at list in half.
  12. Ohh yeah? So, now as an American I have to pay a tax to South Korea so that I can buy KIA? First of all, there is no need. And there is no money either. Gone are the times of unlimited supply of money. Enough for what? And they will cat the numbers, they have to. Otherwise, we are heading the same path as Soviet Union ... Ohh .. BTW Reminder: SAM = Stealth STOP!
  13. Depending on the source of information and the time info was published, the cost of the program could be as high as 382 billions of dollars. Saving SS and Medicare will take more then just cutting/reducing F-35 program. ANother measure would be cutting in half our basis around the world. Also we should charge countries that want our protection. We were able to protect countries for free for many years, but we can not do that any more. I am not getting free KIA although my money is paying for protecting South Korea. That is just one example, and there are many more I could cite here. F-35 program must be slashed severely as well as many other military programs, where we invest enormous and are not getting much in return. For every dollar our government spend, 40 cents is borrowed. Borrowing so much money is severe threat to the security and well being of this country. I really don't feel good paying taxes and knowing that my money is going overseas to pay for interests and loans we are taking to build unnecessary military programs. I still do want F-35, but instead of 2500 of them, a 800 to a 1000 would do just fine.
  14. What good is to have thousands of good pilots when you country implodes due to economy? We can only have a military force we can afford. BTW, which socialist country are you talking about pose a threat to take USA over?
  15. Domenici-Rivlin Panel wants to Kill F-35 Lightning II, V-22 Osprey Don't get me wrong. I too want F-35, but not at the cost of my Social Security and Medicare. Beside, I don't see anybody trying to invade USA any time soon. I would continue with the research and produce fairly small number of F-35's. With all that capability, you don't need many any way. Then reduce flying time to few hundred hours per airframe per year. Most of the training can be done with increasingly sophisticated and affordable, PC (common parts) based simulators. That would ensure we have technological edge and manufacturing capability.
  16. That's a very nice fairy-tale for kids. And, I must admit an average attempt sales pitch. Still dreaming? Now wake up and go back to reality. Reminder: SAM = Stealth STOP!
  17. To hit a decoy. Millions of dollars in technology, training, effort, fuel ..... to hit a few thousands of dollars worth decoy. No wonder we are trillions of dollars in debt. Reminder: SAM = Stealth STOP!
  18. I did not talk about other missiles. Reminder: SAM = Stealth STOP!
  19. GG, you are unbelievable ... BTW, F-15 can not carry eight AMRAAM's .... He, he, he .... Back on topic, the IR source of a such tiny aircraft is very small I assume. In my opinion, locking on such small IR signature is quite success. R-73 RULEZ!!!
  20. Thanks Panzertard. How about other dedicated servers around?
  21. Can anybody confirm that Black Shark works on Windows Server 2008 WE?
  22. Our dedicated server provider can install 2008 WE for a small charge. Fudd, are you saying that the Black Shark will work on 2008 WE? Thanks,
  23. Thanks Fudd. When it comes to the none-server OS, I don't know if our provider would agree to install it? But I may ask them. We do, however, may have a single license for full version of the Windows server 2003, thanks to oneo of our squad members.
  24. Which software are you talking about? Remote Desktop does not work very well with DX applications.
