I download it several times from different servers. Take a closer look at the first part of that error message.

This morning I purchased, downloaded and attempted to install a Black Shark on a remote computer that we use for a Dedicated Server. That computer already has FC 2.0 installed. Anyway, when I tried to install BS, immediately after double clicking on a setup.exe, I get the following error message: Is this a Starforce problem? If yes, how do I reinstall/repair starforce problem?

First of all let me express my appreciation to all involved in creating and testing ServMan. I haven't read the entire thread and I applogize in advance if my question was already answered. Here's the problem we have on our dedicated server. On mission restart (either rotation or just restart) the FC 2.0 often hangs up in the middle of booting up. Sometimes it restarts with no problem what so ever. This evening I tried it about doezen times (enetr mission and leave mission) and most of the time it failed to come up. It either hangs up or after attempting to boot up, the FC screen simply disappears like it was never there. However, when I double click on a Multiplayer shortcut it always starts and it always works. I wonder where is the problem? Is anybody else using ServMan experiencing same/similar problems? What should I do to try to remedy this annoying problem? With all of our effort to make it work, our server is often not on line because FC fails to restart.

Ohh, boy, this is serious now! FA-18 can not carry eight (8) AMRAAM's!! This picture shows dummy (OK Pilotasso the CATM's or whatever) missiles. What about a picture of a real missiles, armed and ready to be launched, maybe even a video of all eight of them being launched (at once), in TWS mode ... :music_whistling: :lol:

Also, you should never fly alone. You have to have a wingmen who has a different view aspect angle so as to be able to spot SAM's if you are not able to do so (due to smoke trail aspect angle).

There is a very good reason why Soviets and later Russians are investing a lot's of effort in developing EOS systems. F-35 has an advanced EOS and if I am not mistaken, they are thinking about installing it on F-22 as well. Why am I saying this? Because radar, and radar homing (active or semi-active) missiles can be detected and possibly jammed. That means that nobody in the right mind would only carry AMRAAM's or RVV-EA's. Because, the fight would most likely end up within EOS range where IR missiles would finish the job. What has happened in the last several decades was the fact the F-15's were usually generation or a generation + class ahead of its opponent. Not to mention some recent conflicts where there were 20 or 30 aircraft (F16, F18, F-15) plus AWACS in the air hunting for a single MiG-29, and even then ... there is still MiG-29's flying over there!!! BTW, that's how F-15 achieved all those AA kills, some of them with AMRAAM's. With everything I said, I seriously doubt we will find a picture of F-15 with 8 AMRAAM's. And by the way, I only take pictures of the real, armed missile, hooked on F-15, clearly visible, on a sunny day so as that I can confirm its status by reading marks on the missile. ;) That's the standard we established for validating real missiles on this forum.

I appreciate your effort. Those AMRAAM's are dummy missiles. And, as you mentioned we don't even know who does that F-16 belongs to.

Around 50, 9-13S were built. 16 of them were delivered to Russian Air Force and the rest of them were converted to 9-13SE, export version. Although Russian Air Force failed to notify you about accepting 9-13S in service, thus 913S does not exist. Can we stay on topic please? No picture, no proof. What kind of F-16 is in service in Portugal? The kind that can not carry AMRAAM's? PS Why would F-15 ever carry 8 AMRAAMS in real life is the real question?

There have never been a war situation where Soviet Union or Russia needed to take six (or any) R-77's. That's why we don't have a picture of combat ready R-77 on thieir MiG-29S (9-13S). Same (most likely) applies to F-15 and its payload of eight AMRAAMS.

My argument was exactly the same when discussing the R-27EA missile and it was rejected, laughed about and ridiculed. Then let me just say that Portugal F-16's in service are not capable of using AMRAAM! ;) Show me the picture to prove otherwise! DON"T touch that Photoshop icon on a desktop ...

I am not sure that publically available info will tell us what is on Indonesians Flankers. Just like Russians, Indonesians have relatively small number of Flankers and would keep tight secret on some of their capabilities. Potential adversary is kept in doubts because it would not know if Active, Semi/Active or Passive missile is flying (or not flying) towards him.

WOW, DX 11!! My hardware is ready. While BS is my aircraft of choice, I will buy A-10 to support ED and to occasionally enjoy the level of fidelity flying A-10.
