Enough to take rancher's their land, yes. To take a country, no. 1200 NATO aircraft proved that if you have 100 airplanes in the air against a pair of MiG-A's that you can successfully defeat them. That's why I said that if your M1A2 ratio would be the same against T-80's I am sure M1A2 would "win". NATO use of military force over Yugoslavia should not be used for any kind of serious military discussion simply because of overwhelming numerical advantage NATO forces enjoyed.
-
Why didn't mighty NATO (read USA) try using M1A2 in Kosovo i Metohija (KiM) then? NATO brought 1200 aircraft into KiM theater and bragged how it shoot down few MiG-29A's. I assume 5000 M1A2 would kill few T-80U's as well.

I have the same stick and is now collecting dust. I made this video a year or so ago. I don't know if Saitek or ED have done anything in the mean time to make this stick work better: 5kAipkQwBvU

Our server is a quad core Q6700 @2.66GHz with 2GB of RAM memory. Video card is GIGABYTE GV-R465OC-1GI Radeon HD 4650 1GB. We usually run our missions at medium settings.

We at =4c= are conducting a community wide event, semi dynamic campaign known as a NUCLEUS. We always conducted stress tests a week before the main event. The mission for the stress test was overloaded and with way more units then the actual event mission. Only after successfully passing the stress test we committed to the actual event. Our NUCLEUS team has at least three members where, the first is the leader creating the mission and overseeing the whole process, the second is responsible for hardware operations and settings and the third is communicating the messages between participants. I would like to thank Fudd and everybody else who was involved in RF preparation. I also would support Yoda's suggestion about shutting down all servers, maybe once a week for several hours and force everybody to go on one server to see what happens. This is something that can be negotiated, discussed and implemented through the Commanders Round Table.

A-10 C 64bit version still planned?
4c Hajduk Veljko replied to jctrnacty's topic in DCS: A-10C Warthog
It is my understanding that, one of the benefits of the 64bit code is a much bigger world that what we have now. -

T-50 uses stealth afterburners. That's why they are not visible on that footage and you could not see them. But, some say, afterburners are visible with 3D glasses?
-
You are grown up man when you realize that politicians have a "right" to lie. Sukhoi engineers have nothing to worry about. Their work on T-50 speaks louder then politicians empty speeches. BTW that take off and right turn was very very impressive. I watched F-22 live, but something like this ...

Patch 1.02 not conpatable with Win7 64?
4c Hajduk Veljko replied to denzilangoff's topic in Bugs and Problems
No problems here either. -
I thank Jiri very much for all his work on HL. Recently, with 64 bit Vista and Win 7, I could not make HL to properly show its GUI. Nevertheless, it was a good piece of software. But now, I don't need HL any more, one program less to take care about. Built-in game browser is showing way more servers available. HL felt so empty at times creating a weird feeling.

This statement is not completely factual. Vehicles in the convoy will shoot at you if you are within the range. Convoy will attempt to go around obstacles such as destroyed units. Furthermore, what will "Herringbone" do when there is nowhere to hide? Look what happened to Iraqi convoys pulling out of Kuwait. They were decimated. No "Herringbone" can help when you are caught in the open. On the other hand, in a recent NATO military use, more then 20 000 sorties were flown (not all against mobile ground targets) and there was only less then 20 verifiable mobile ground targets destroyed. Guess why? When playing BS, we usual set up an ambush based on known convoy movement and in the open. That convoy is dead within minutes and at maximum range. And "Herringbone" would not help them at all. The only way that convoy would survive is to provide it with a good air cover.
-
What is the convoy suppose to do in the open road? Also, the fact is, every ground unit will engage you if you are within the range. I am not arguing the AI is good. However, what you said is a bit too harsh and not factual. And it is good to hear that developer is working to improve AI.

In need of Ka-50 Pilots for LOCERF 10-2.
4c Hajduk Veljko replied to Fudd's topic in DCS: Ka-50 Black Shark
Our squad has few very good Ka-50 pilots. However, we haven't finished our individual/squad level training on this aircraft yet, thus none of our members is permitted to fly BS with squad tags on big events such as RF. I'll see if someone from the squad wants to fly it, however, it will be without our squad tags. -
I really don't know that.

Before bailing our, pilot, Major Slobodan Jocić closed the fuel shut off valves, thus no fuel spillage in the lake occurred. Šutanovac posetio pilota Jocića 6. jun 2010. | 13:32 | Izvor: Beta PS =4c= Destroyer, pictures are phenomenal!!! :notworthy:
-
So far, there is no report on oil/fuel spillage. Official report is that there was no spillage of fuel or oil.
