  1. Option #3 for me, 1:500,000 flat, not laminated. At list one copy. Now how big would this map be in centimeters?

The system runs BS very well. I still can not push all settings to max on FC. I am running it at stock speed so as to make sure everything works all right. In few weeks I'll start overcloacking the CPU.
  4. Yes that was a struggle. Otherwise they would just use a pencil. Reminder: SAM = Stealth STOP!
  5. He, he, he ... I've just built a new rig and thought I could survive without FC for few days until 2.0 comes out. I was wrong. I just can not detox from FC ....
  6. Programs such as LOCFG should be entered in Lock On Hall of Fame!!!!
  7. Hi Vekkinho, Here's the link that may help you deciding which CPU would be better for you. Best Gaming CPUs For The Money: March 2010
  8. Whose propaganda? I am sure both sides are only talking about their own side of the story. We know that both sides are not innocent when it comes to propaganda and intentional (or unintentional) spin on facts.
  9. And now, hunt for the monitors with the thinnest bezel! Go, search people!! :smilewink:
  10. Pilotasso, my friend, these are two different links you are showing in your below post? My comment was about the article from you opening post and that one is titled "NASA grieves over canceled program" and is all about programs cancellations. Now you have another link... All right, that's fine, if I have time I'll read it. Next time, when you want to talk about something, pick the right link to open discussion. Regards,
  11. Did you read the article from your link Pilotasso? Let me remind you of the title: NASA grieves over canceled program
  12. About 10% of US population is on food stamps. Health care cost is killing us, with annual double digit (percentage wise) cost increase. Tens of millions of people have no health insurance at all. There are fewer and fewer companies offering pension plans, with many companies already canceled their pension planes. Our national debt is about 12 trillions (12 000 000 000 000) of dollars and our total debt is higher then the entire planet GDP. If I am not mistaken, as of right now, we would not qualify joining EU because of our level of budget deficit. Those are the reasons why we have to cut our scientific programs. There is no sense in arguing scientific aspect of this subject when the simple facts show that that we simply run out of money. I love NASA. I was in Houston space center numerous times and occasionally walk out on my front yard to observe ISS flying over my house. NASA have brought us all kind of scientific and real life advances, one of which may completely change our lifes in the near future (see energy servers blog on daily tech). But, we just ran out of money at the moment and have to make painful cuts of many programs.
  13. Incredible!! I've just received 5850! I sure hope I'll have some kind of a triple monitor setup in the future.
  14. Frogfoot, as well as A-10 are platforms from the past. Low and slow flying nowadays is all but too dangerous. I certainly would love to have AFM Frogfoot in DCS, however, the mission would have to be designed without stingers or strelas. In Afghanistan, soviet pilots flew so low that they visual acquired targets in the first pass and then made turn to kill it. That was until stinger arrived. Nowadays, flying low is only possible against opponent that does not have shoulder launched SAM's.
  15. I worked in Australia for six month. Australia is very sophisticated country, very capable of handling high tech stuff, including top of the line military technology. This article may reflect current situation where a series of bad events caused temporary reduction in fleet availability. Yet, there is no urgency for Australia to overspend and waste national treasury in fixing RAAF problems. I am sure, Australians will bring their F-18 fleet availability up in appropriate and timely manner. F-18 is a very good airplane.
  16. Who is "we"? Portugal does not have stealth airplane development/manufacturing program. USA, Russia-India and possibly China are the players in this field. Everybody else are buyers.
  17. I would say, grounded, pending investigation of the incident. Landing on a such a small deck is a process that involves many elements with many assumptions. If pilot failed to follow procedures, I am sure he suffered consequences. However, if things out of his control happened, and he saved the airplane and carrier deck by risking his life, he may be awarded a medal. We just don't know what happened.
  18. I was just looking at that! What missile is that? Very aggressive upward trajectory indeed.
  19. Front-view, PAK-FA looks like a space ship from sci-fi movies.
  20. According to that article, there is no breakthrough in negotiations and agreement is only in "principle".
