The R530s are fat and slow BUT are incredibly manouverable and in conjunction with the TEL radar mode (Hud autolock) are a great way to kill a head on target. Not BVR in any sense but useful nonetheless.

I would just like to say that I LOVE this module. I wasn't sure about it at first but it has really grown on me and I love all the little details and capabilities. A definite classic and I'm looking forward to the B version this month too. Great Job AERGES!!

The TEL is working - keep the tgt in the HUD for 4-5 seconds as long as it isn't cold at the same speed as you and it will lock. BPZ is still WIP.

You might be aiming too low, the centre point for the seekers is just ABOVE the HUD glass.

Is the Ext switch in M or A? I'm noticing that only M works at the moment, even for sidewinders.

It seems that when I do it at 300+ I get cut outs but if I wait to 450 then this method works great. It might be a tiny delay that makes all the difference.

Yes indeed. But the standby thing hasn't been listed as one of the current issues, I think? If I'm doing a strike, I don't want to go in there pinging everyone's RWR!

When I start the Mirage, I think I do the same thing (to Idle at 300+RPM and quick advance and pull back of the throttle). This seems to work 80% of the time and sometimes it doesn't, with not other changes? And if it doesn't light, is there any other way to try again without reslotting please?

I've started switching the radar off because I keep getting actual radar contacts (lockable) with the radar in standby. I'm worried it's still transmitting.

The artwork and modelling are truly outstanding ... but are we going to see it fly and fight sometime?

AI Gaz was able to fly home just fine like this ...

As well as the PHIMAT chaff pod, the Iraqi (BQ/EQ) Mirage F1's can carry the X-29L Laser guided missile and the X-29T TV guided missile. They use the latter effectively but I can't get them to fire the Laser versions at all? Anyway, I'm jealous - it would be great to have a guided weapon on our version(s)! Perhaps the AS-30L that was widely used on the F1?

@NineLine Is there any movement on this please? This could be such a fantastic map for ground attack (Gazelle etc) but as it stands it's useless: a convoy completely hidden driving along a wooded road can open fire and you have no chance of spotting them at all.

Latest version on Steam MT. Took off, flew, turned ground radar on left MFD then made that screen SOI (it was set to 20 miles). Instant complete crash (DCS closed). No mods, log attached. No other aircraft or units in game, just my F15E dcs.log.old

Auto hover works completely fine for me - I have rudder trim set and I get into a hover (Doppler cross centered, no climb) and trim my pedals out then hit autohover. I switch seats and use MILD collective changes to rise and fall as required. Slight pedal pressure to turn towards tgts. Works fine. I have no joystick trim at all, just hold in position.

Found the answer - you can't select it on the radar selector - there's a separate switch for this mode (TEL, BZ doesn't work yet)

Yes, same here. Not only in the air but flying backwards! Doesn't end well. Parking spots tested at the western end (94 etc). @OnReTech
