  1. Hi all, When accelerating down the runway, I notice the AI Mirage F1 wingman with an identical load accelerates much faster and takes off sooner. I have full flaps down for a heavy load but can't see why he's up so much faster?
  2. So, further testing, online and off. With the temperature set to -20, the helicopter flies fine up to torque 10 if starting hot, although I have to have the throttle all the way down, which seems odd. But I can achieve decent speeds of 240-250 km/h. If I cold start, I can't get the torque over 7-8 without getting the warning lights.
  3. Playing multiplayer, cold start on winter map, -11 degrees. Immediately after I take off, I get the orange engine limited warnings every time, even if I let the engines warm up first and have the APU off. This happens from torque of 8 degrees onwards, whereas BS 2 would easily take 11 degrees. Is there something new that I'm not doing?
  4. Got the shkval flicker again that looks like rotor blades or similar.
  5. 317 is the new standard program because of the auto-dispense function. So the tooltip needs updating.
  6. I don't get that problem with any of the black skins
  7. In cockpit pilot has one uniform, pilot strapped to seat has another and pilot in parachute wears a third uniform.
  8. Even with external hardpoints (pylons) off in the mission editor, they still show up in 2.8. For skins without them mapped it looks really messy.

  10. Using the Huey in the Syria map in rough weather - search and landing lights (white light) make the sea shine a weird blue
  11. Shkval flickering in 2.8 (zoomed in only?) As you can see from the screenshot, there are odd olines on the Shkval that seem to flicker at the speed of the rotor as though the Shkval is looking through (?) the rotor blades.

  16. It would be great if George had two options - showing highest risk targets (as at present) or closest. In some servers with 20 items in the list, this would be a huge bonus! At present you have to stay exposed too long and watch the cross jump around before you realise there's a T90 at 4km who just killed you while you were looking at the Osa miles off.
  17. I wonder why? It's odd. BTW using Spot In and an orbiting Reaper I have now successfully fired LOAL onto those targets too. So thank you again. Feels like a big step forward.
  18. Did an online mission last night where Petro was firing very accurately in the dark so this seems fixed.
  19. Ah it worked, thank you so much!! I'd never come across this before, explains why I always got frustrated with drone AFACs etc. Really appreciate the help! I find that can happen when the JTAC loses sight of a moving tgt, i.e. when it drives into a bit of a dip in the ground.
  20. OK, that's new to me as I never do that with ground JTAC. Let me give it a try ....
