  1. You should keep speed constant. Maybe try to set the throttle by watching the fuel flow gauge. For example set throttle to 4000 pph and wait until the speed settles, which should be around 350 KIAS. Then trim and try keeping altitude without changing the throttle. For me it is the most difficult plane to keep the altitude constant.
  2. The only one with procedures I found: http://109lair.hobbyvista.com/techref/manuals/bf109e.pdf
  3. I´m a Virpil customer since 2021. I have ordered base, throttle, ruder pedals, deskmounts etc. Preordered the FLNKR Grip as well. I am very happy with the quality ande performance of every product I bought. I have to admit that I was annoyed of the time my backorder took until it wa shipped, because waiting for new toys is always hard. But I knew from reserch how long the backorder times were when I ordered. The delay of the FLNKR grip is unfortunate as well but I´m sure the product will be great so it´s worth the wait. I don´t have exprience with customer support because I never complained.
  4. My shirt arrived last week. 8 weeks after I wrote to support.
  5. Got my shirt today, 8 weeks after I wrote to support. Germany
  6. Check the keybind under F-4 WSO Controls.
  7. Sorry, can't check, I'm on vacation
  8. Try using the Propeller Pitch Rocker Switch. If this changes the clock setting you are in manual mode. If not you are in auto mode. In auto mode the clock should be changing all the time unless u are flying with constant parameters. If you are actually in auto mode and don't pick up speed check gear, flaps and make sure cooling is in auto mode. You could also check the circuit breakers.
  9. They said they resend it ti me as well but it's 4 weeks already. I'm in Germany so sending it from Poland shouldn't be that big a deal. Pretty annoying.
  10. I just tried out the F-4 profile and found out that some of Jester commands for operating the UHF radio (switching modes and settting preset com frequencies) don´t work because the keybinds in VoiceAttack profile commands differ from the DCS keybinds for the desired action. Is this because I didn´t load the Keyboard.diff.lua properly or because I use a German keyboard layout or did heatblur change someting with the last DCS update? Changing the keybinds works. Because it´s just a few commands it is not that much work. I was just wondering if I did somethimg wrong. when installing the profile. In general all the important actions work great. I use it in VR just to communicate to Ground Crew and Jestter. It is a really great tool for immersion. The buttons and switches in the cockpit I prefer to operate by myself.
  11. For navigating waypoints you have to use the Jester menu. Via Jester you edit flightplans and select where you want to go. Usually Jester is naviating to the first waypoint in the primary flightplan and after that to the second waypoint and so forth. To find out where you have to go you have to use the Navigation Function Selector Panel next to the HSI which consists of two knobs. BRG/DIST on the left and MODE on the right. For waypoint navigation you have to select NAV/COMP on both knobs. (Navigation Computer) The HSI now shows direction and distance to the next waypoint. If you turn on the flightdirector with the right knob the ADI displays steering information on the ADI as well. I hope that helps.
  12. I really misunderstood. This only affects the airboss station. I trierd myself and can confirm there is no cursor to interact with the environment (yellow cross). I managed to get to show the other cursor though with which you interact with ingame windows like comms and kneeboard. Since it ist offsett from the interaction cursor it is no use.
  13. Maybe I´m misunderstanding the problem but what if you just DO NOT press LeftAlt+C? Do you then see a cursor?
  14. For me in VR the cursor is always there by default. It dissapears when I don´t move it for some time but reappears as soon as I move it again. Pressing LAlt+C makes the cursor disappear. Pressing LAlt+C agin makes the cursor reappear.
  15. It is the bearing, relative to where the nose of the aircraft is pointing, to the threat with the highest priority. The top priority threat has a diamond around the letter/number. In this case the RWR classifies the H on the top left as the top priority threat and displays a diamond around it. You can find more details in the manual: Radar Warning Receiver - Heatblur F-4E Phantom II
  16. The folder Name is "F-4E-45MC". Works just like any othe module.
  17. My T-Shirt has not arrived yet. Preordered October 30th. Germany.
  18. According to the manual pushing the NWS button when AFCS is engaged switches between heading hold and attitude hold. I have to try that out. When attitude is more than 5° from wings level the heading mode should not activate. I wonder if it stays in attitude hold then.
  19. Hi, I bought the DIY-Kit from @Winger and built the Rhino myself. I did not want to wait forever and building the Rhino myself was a satisfying experience. Because I don't have a 3D printer the DIY-Kit was the perfect solution for me. Because I already knew @Winger and his expertise I was confident to be successful. I'm very happy! Thanks @Winger for answering every question I had while I was building.
  20. If you also ordered a physical item (shirt/vinyl) it is supposed to be shipped by the end of february as stated on the preorder page. So maybe the release date has been in plain sight all the time. I mean you can´t wear the shirt if you don´t fly the F-4 right?
  21. This thread may be helpful: https://forum.dcs.world/topic/169380-experienced-bf-109-pilots-help-needed-right-roll-level-flight/
  22. I don't know the technical reason for this. Maybe engine torque? But I am neither pilot nor engineering so not competent. I thought the behaviour is intended. I struggled with this as well (constant rudder and stick input needed). My settings are now aileron trim -25 and rudder trim -5.
  23. From the manual: "The 109 K series featured Flettner tabs on serial production aircraft to reduce control forces, but these were often not fitted to production examples, with many of the K-4s using the same aileron system as the G series. Some aircraft rolled off the production line with only ground-adjustable aileron Flettner trim, but no elevator trim, which resulted in uneven force distribution on the stick, making control more difficult at higher speeds." From another thread: "German fighters in general did not have in-flight adjustable aileron and rudder trims. Only ground-adjustable (bent by mechanics) ones are available on K-4. By default the plane is set to fly relatively straight with cruise parameters (a bit above 1 ATA of boost and ~400 kph IAS), but you can change adjustment in "special" settings tab with trial and error method." So my understanding is that it is intended to work like this, because it´s how it was in the real aircraft. The DCS special option for thr BF 109 to set ailron and rudder trim simulates the mechanic setting the trim flapon the ground the way the pilot wanted it to be. That way you can choose at what speed you want the plane to fly straight without stick force.
  24. Flight Manual page 35 + page 37 explain it.
