Need Help with Re-installing please..

You don't need to patch the original LOMAC. Install FC over fresh LO1.00 and apply patch 1.12a. -

A retired Japanese pilot wrote in his book that he used 9g maneuvers often in F-15. -
I think the aspect system should be like this: 1. Standard: 1.333333333 (= 4:3) 2. Automatic: [Horizontal resolution]/[Vertical resolution] (= Square pixels) 3. Manual: Whatever user want Most non-standard aspect screens use square pixels, so the automatic aspect should work for them.

Sorry for taking so long. The new file link is ready. http://www.virtual-jabog32.de/index.php?section=downloads&subcat=28&file=506&lang=en The upload was slow and I missed the first try because the site asked to fill in the discription AFTER 1 hour upload... So I had to try again. I thought it would take forever. -

I converted the movie to DivX format and uploaded to Stage6. I think the quality is close enough to the original. http://stage6.divx.com/members/73949/videos/1021506 -
Walmis made very useful tool when you include CDDS files in your mod. File Download and Detailed Information

By the way, the dds conversion of the CDDS Studio is not very good. TGA files' alpha channel will be messed up. To prevent this, change the format from 'D3DFMT_DXT5' to 'D3DFMT_DXT2' or 'D3DFMT_DXT3' in the CDDS Studio. Or convert TGAs to dds by other tools and replace dds in the cdds with them. Recommended tools: DDS Converter LO texture tool

I made the new cdds from the tga =FV=MAD made. Unzip it and place in \Bazar\World.

Please read here. http://www.lockon-models.com/index.php?showtopic=47

Try this cdds. nomeramod.zip
-
Your nomeramod.cdds is broken. CDDS Browser can not see the textures inside. Edit: It's not cdds but dds.

I made the model LoMan compatible and mirrored at my site. http://bvr.jpn.org/lockon/index_e.html

Very good! and the modification of the config file by updatecfg.exe is really cool. Another suggestion: Can you modify the exe for general purpose? If one can specify a cdds name as the exe's argument, any cdds mod can be installed/uninstalled automatically without ruining people's graphics settings. This will be a great mod tool. Don't you think so?

24 bit. You don't need alpha channel.
-
Very nice, Walmis. I have a few suggestions. Modman can place .exe files wherever you want (say LockOn root folder) and run them in the installation/uninstallation process. If you can make new updatecfg.exe without the path pointing, the installation process can be fully automatic. And, if you can make another .exe file which removes the added line from graphics.cfg, automatic and clean uninstallation can be possible, too. Do you think you can make those .exe files? If you do, I can package them.:)

http://lockon.ru/index.php?lang=ru&end_pos=982&scr=products (English page is not updated yet.) Night ops and BTR-RD. Looks like Ka-50 has a search light.

Well, I don't recommend this because unistallation can be troublesome. Do it at your own risk. Installation: 1) Backup all files in \LockOn\Bazar\Terrain\Structures\High\ 2) Unzip the mod file. 3) Copy all .cmd files to \LockOn\Bazar\Terrain\Structures\High\ 4) Copy all .tga files to \LockOn\Bazar\TempTextures\ Uninstallation: 1) Put back the backedup files to \LockOn\Bazar\Terrain\Structures\High\ 2) Delete .tga files from \LockOn\Bazar\TempTextures\ The tga filenames are ~0.tga and each file size is 1KB. There are 20 files.

This diagram might help. You should be 250knots or less to lower your landing gear. My directional airfield icon could be helpful, too. http://bvr.jpn.org/lockon/mod/index_e.html

You are welcome! This information might be what you want to know, too. How to have HiRes Textures without using TempTexture directory

My mod is for general users. You can make your own customized cdds very easily by using CDDS studio. http://forum.lockon.ru/showpost.php?p=237734&postcount=2 1) Extract all textures from the original cdds. This tool might be useful. http://www.lockonfiles.com/modules.php?name=Downloads&d_op=viewdownloaddetails&cid=82&lid=590&ttitle=Editing_Textures#dldetails 2) Remove unnecessary textures and replace some with higher resolution textures. etc. 3) Reconstruct cdds from them by CDDS studio. 4) Replace the cdds with the original.
-
Well, you have to follow some rules to insert textures into cdds files. 1) Textures must have same names and same sizes as the originals. 2) When you manually convert files to dds format, they must have correct names and format. They also must have maximum mipmaps. BMP: Original name: ABC.BMP -> Format: DXT1, DDS name: ABC.BMP.dds TGA: Original name: ABC.TGA -> Format: DXT5, DDS name: ABC.TGA.dds * In DDS Converter 2, check 'Build mipmaps' and set 'Number' to 0. The cdds mod is the final state and should not have any bugs. You do not have to remove other mods, just uninstall. My cdds files have no double-named files, so no mixed up texture installation will occur. And, the texture formats are only DXT1 and DXT5 that Modman can handle correctly. All correctly sized textures can be installed into cdds.

I am preparing to release new mod solves such problems. Could you try this? DOWNLOAD ModMan package 125MB *** CAUTION *** Please read carefully! Installation procedure: 1) Uninstall all other texture mods first. 2) Install this mod (the state will be yellow), then exit ModMan. 3) Restart ModMan and let it regenerate the textures index. Uninstallation procedure: 1) Uninstall all other texture mods first. 2) Uninstall this mod, then exit ModMan. 3) Open \LockOn\Bazar\World\ folder and make sure there are no ~.cdds.org files. If there are any, delete the same name .cdds files and rename ~.cdds.org files as ~.cdds 4) Restart ModMan and let it regenerate the textures index. DO NOT reinstall this over its partially-installed state. Fully uninstall this first. DO NOT install "Russian Seat Fix" over this mod.
