DOWNLOAD (ZIP:690KB) LoMan Compatible This mod will remove the trees which pop up when you come close to the buildings. The trees will be more sparse, especially when the SCENES setting is Medium. See this Before and After Comparison (SCENES = High) No FPS gain or loss expected from this mod. But, because the buildings LOD changes will be less noticeable, you might want to lower the 'lod' setting in Config\graphics.cfg and gain some FPS. I don't recommend the lod less than 1 though.

ED have to do re-programing and beta-testing etc. Who will pay for it?

The list file and the target cdds file can not have "spaces" in their filenames and paths. You can not place those files in "My Documents" and such.

The format should be DXT1 for BMPs.

Actually, the manual says 'eight' in page 252. But, it seems I can lock only 4 in game now. The patch made any change? I did not see any mention on this in the readme.

You are right. There are 4 same name files for each texture because those textures are in the 'season' files. LoMan can only insert them into the autumn CDDS file. By uncheck the option, LoMan put the textures in TempTextures folder and LockOn always use them regardless of season.

The design made the missile much smaller and cheaper. So you can carry many.

Check the axis settings of other devices. I think another device is 'sharing' the throttle and conflicting with X-52.

I superimposed StrikeMax's model over the real photo from this page. I know this is very rough comparison, but it looks like the positions of many parts (canopy, intake, vertical fin) are very different.

I don't think the guy who did the modeling and the animation can correct any issue with planes and missiles.

They are testing AAM-4 (Japanese version of AIM-120) and will send it in service in a few years. They say AAM-4 has better range and tracking capability compared to AIM-120 or AA-12.:unsure: AAM-5 (Japanese AIM-9X) might be in service in the near future, too.

'Clipping' is the display range limit. Beyond the clipping range, LockOn doesn't draw the objects. The unit is meter. Larger clipping means more objects you see but less FPS. Firefox and Opera don't show your page properly. IE does. They show only this.

Haha...Until now I didn't know I couldn't select 13 as ON-BOARD# in LockOn. ED's people are really superstitious.:D
