Anyone love those jets from the 60s? Both sides of the Cold War tried everything in their research to get ahead. Many interesting and sometimes weird designs were made. Yak-28 design is interesting, weird, exotic, mass-produced, and most importantly, served in Eastern Germany, flew in the sky of Western Germany. It would be a perfect addition to the upcoming Cold War Germany map,

Ok, finally, let me add Yak-17 as well.
-
OK, I forgot the F9 as well. Over 1000 were made and were the only carrier-borne jet fighter in the Korean War, I think. Think about it, we are already getting the F4U and A-1; the MiG-9, F80 and the F9 will complete the Korean War.

What about the Canberra bomber?
-
I heard that we are going to get Me-262. So, on that note, how about MiG-9, Yak-17, IL-10, F-80 and F-9 as well? All were used in the Korean War. https://www.jetphotos.com/photo/11177380

Silver Dragon's roadmap says it is going to be a G-8 variant. Does anyone know What's a G-8 variant? It's not in Wikipedia.
-
We need those.
-
I don't get it. Shouldn't ED have more data on older jets like the F-22 and F-117 to produce a true FF module? Why not go after those instead? Please don't tell me DCS is going to turn into another warthunder.

"Downgraded" Documentation Requirements for modules
PLAAF replied to cailean_556's topic in Chit-Chat
I don't get it. If ED doesn't have enough data to make F-35, why push it??!! Why not go after F-22 or F-117? I am sure they can get enough data on those older jets. Unbelievable. So our DCS is going to evolve into another Warthunder? That hurts, that really hurts. -
Great news!! J-8F is now retired. Hopefully, we can get J-8F instead.
PLAAF replied to PLAAF's topic in DCS: J-8II
If not J-8F, a later production of J-8H is good too. And as far as I know, J-8Hs have retired before the F variant. -

As everyone has heard, China just revealed two 6th-generation prototypes along with the new KJ-3000 AWACS and Type 076 carrier on the 26th of December, Chairman Mao's 131st birthday. So, what secret is there in an old 3rd gen fighter like J-8F? @uboats @L0op8ack Please ask the Chinese military, I am sure you will get permission to make J-8F instead. @uboats @L0op8ack Please say "yes" and make me the happiest man on earth. -
any update?

A listing of all variants of J-7 and J-8.
PLAAF replied to PLAAF's topic in Deka Ironwork Simulations
There is no specific variant as far as I know because everyone bought different variants. So in that sense, the J-7E and J-7G series have spread wider. But then again, they also have their own sub-variants which different nations had bought differently. But if Deka wants to make a J-7II module, I wish it was the F-7MB since it has a better RWR. Alternatively, the final J-7IIM variant is good too. -

If you want the most widespread variant, the J-7II series is the one you want to go for. -
I found this picture, it showed that Chile's F-5 has a refuelling pod. I heard that ED is making a 2.0 version of the F-5. Can we please have Chile F-5E Tiger III upgrades as a part of the 2.0? Thanks for your consideration.

The PLA Navy is retiring its Ka-28. A lot of them have been given to museums for free. If Deka decides to make it a module, it will be the first Anti-Submarine Warfare helicopter in DCS. https://club.6parkbbs.com/chan1/index.php?app=forum&act=threadview&tid=14622106

Since this is a prototype plan, I wonder if we will get prototype PL-3 missiles.

PLAAF replied to PLAAF's topic in DCS: J-8II
If not, they can just give us J-8T. J-8T's cockpit has been known to us for a long time. I would be happy if we could settle for a J-8T. -
Since years ago, the Chinese military had announced plans to retire all their 2nd and 3rd gen fighters by 2024 or 2025. And a few days ago I found this news article. It stated that J-8F, the best combat variant of J-8 has retired. For the entire J-8 family, only the J-8FR, the recon variant will remain in service for a few more years. Hopefully, that increase our chances to get permission from the Chinese military, so Deka can make J-8F instead. https://www.sohu.com/a/800755369_121118978

All J-7 will be retired this year. Hopefully, Deka can make the J-7G module afterwards. -
It has been a year and a half, they must have done something.
-
We have PL-5EII already. But it would be great if we get PL-5B, C and E.

What an AWESOME campaign this is~!!! Can you make more please?
PLAAF replied to PLAAF's topic in The Museum Relic Campaign
That's what I have been saying. We definitely need a MiG-19 version of this campaign.
