  1. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=269568
  2. I checked, it happens in instant action too. Please submit a new bug report in a seperate thread since it has nothing to do with the high RPM bug.
  3. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=286361 Some bugs I found in the training missions.
  4. Yes, I stand corrected. Windmilling is providing the HYD SYS B power. Not a bug. Thanks for enlightening me!
  5. Yes I see what you mean. I took control and discovered that if you advance the throttle slowly, it works OK. It only fails when you snap the throttle. Did you try it in a normal mission (not training), or in instant action? Did you try to completely uninstall and reinstall?
  6. Fascinating. Can you please attach a track file? I would like to investigate it myself as the electrical system is one of my favorite systems.
  7. Thats odd since it works well for me. Maybe your throttle is set with the OFF position so when you move to IDLE you actually move to OFF so the engine and electrical system shuts down?
  8. I have provided a track file several days ago. Can the status be changed to [iNVESTIGATING] or anything else?

  11. Latest Open Beta Instant Action single player. In flight, shutdown the engine. HYD PRESS A,B gauges will drop to zero (as expected). EPU comes ON (as expected). HYD PRESS A,B gauges will rize to 3000 PSI. Thats wrong since the EPU can only backup HYD SYS A. HYD SYS B should stay at zero PSI.
  12. Latest Open Beta. Instant Action Single player. In flight. Move MAIN PWR switch to OFF. MAIN GEN light comes on (as expected). FLCS RLY light comes on. AOA and VVI indicators shows OFF. Move MAIN PWR switch to MAIN PWR. MAIN GEN light goes off (as expected) but after a long delay. That delay seems wrong to me as the main generator is still fully spinning, thus generating electrical power even if the MAIN PWR switch is OFF. It is simply disconnected form the ac buses. When moving MAIN PWR switch to MAIN PWR, the electrical power from the main generator should connect immediately to the ac buses, so MAIN GEN light should go off immediately. The delay of MAIN GEN going off during engine start is because the engine needs to reach a higher RPM than that which makes the STBY GEN light to go off. Not absolutely sure about that: I believe the FLCS RLY light should not stay ON after the electrical system is restored to fully working order after returning MAIN PWR switch to MAIN PWR. Also not absolutely sure about that: Since EPU comes ON when MAIN PWR switch is OFF, all electrical loads that can be powered by the EPU should work, like the AOA and VVI indicators.
  13. https://1fichier.com/?u5sgg4a8b94ivszu4cmo This is the requested track file. Switched to external view Throttle to MAX AB RPM reached 102% ENG CONT guard up ENG CONT - SEC RPM reached 116%
  14. Exactly, so SEC thrust has to be lower then PRI thrust. I got 116% in SEC and 102% in PRI...
  15. Start an Instant action - Cold and dark. Before clicking FLY, you can see part of the cockpit. The altimeter shows 00000 and the PNEU flag is not shown. When clicking FLY, the altimeter animates to 1500 and the PNEU flag is shown. The aircraft even jumps a bit. I believe thats the result of the sim setting up the initial conditions of the mission and state of the aircraft. IMHO, and after flying many other sims, including the real ones, any setup the sim has to perform should happen before giving the player the control (clicking the FLY button). The same way all textures and weather data are loaded before clicking FLY. It may be a sim wide bug, not just an F-16 one. Don't know, don't have other modules and hate the preinstalled ones.
  16. Yes, testing DCS and trying to find bugs. According to -1, pushing the throttle to MAX AB in SEC is permitted.
  17. Latest Open Beta Single player Instant action - Free flight *** I am not an engine expert *** but I know how to read the -1... Started the flight in PRI. Throttle to MAX AB. Waited for RPM to stabilize at ~102%. Switched engine to SEC and used external view to see what happens. RPM showed 116% and decreased slowly to normal values. Altitude was below 10000ft. I don't think RPM can reach that high, especially in SEC. The RPM indicator is capped at 110% for a reason... -1: "rpm may also initially decrease (up to 10 percent rpm) and then recover to a level slightly below that for PRI." EDIT: From -1 regarding RPM indicator range: "The RPM indicator has a pointer display expressed in percent rpm from 0 110." So, if RPM rizes more than 110%, it is definately a bug.
  18. As a general rule, the pilot should not touch the stick and rudder during BIT. However, it is less critical than the analog FLCS where Self Test would almost certainly fail. -1 claims that other preparations can be done during BIT. By my experience, it increases the chance of BIT failure and actually increases the time it takes the pilot to launch. You are correct, this is highly recommended and an absolute must at cold weather, including the rudder pedals! Warming the hydraulic fluid is an urban legend. The reason is to remove air bubbles in the hydraulic fluid. Using an external hydraulic cart (mule or TTU) for several hours can still cause BIT to fail, because of the air bubbles, not the oil temp...
  19. Is it still an open bug report ? Seems OK to me. OP, please reconfirm bug exists.
  20. I looked carefully but could not see a misaligned LEFs or TEFs. Please provide a zoomed in screenshot.
  21. I confirm. Engine reaches zero RPM. Both HYD guages read zero PSI. All control surfaces responds to stick and rudder inputs as if engine is still running and HYD pressure is 3000 PSI. Definately a bug.
  22. You are correct. The horizontal tails should be leading edge up as you can see in almost every picture of a parked F-16. Here the pilot probably cut power before engine spooled down completely so some hydraulic pressure remained.
  23. I tried it now and you are correct. But according to -1 it works perfectly. -1: OFF position "Turns off the white light at trailing edge of vertical tail and the inlet lights. Allows the red and green wingtip lights to be controlled by the FORM knob" FORM Knob "Varies the white formation lights on top and bottom of fuselage and, when the WING/TAIL switch is OFF, varies the red and green wingtip lights from off to bright" IMHO not a bug, please recheck.
  24. I just noticed that after shutting down the engine but leaving the MAIN PWR switch in MAIN PWR, FLCS BIT can be engaged. Thats wrong as it is only a utility function and does not work on battery power.
  25. Roll axis a special SIFO circuit (Slow In Fast Out). It works well.
