  1. Military Grid Reference System (legallandconverter.com)
  2. 2.16. Windows. I have Windows Defender disabled - NAV has this program excluded from scans and is allowing it full internet access. Where are the maps supposed to install to?
  3. How do you get the maps to show? I can see units, threat rings, etc but no maps. Have tried with instant missions o Caucausus and Nevada.
  4. More like over 20+ months. I put in an order back in early April 2022 and they are only to mid-January 2022 orders. Almost no movement on any orders for months. I'm not expecting to see anything till summer at least.
  5. GeForce Hotfix Driver Version 546.31 | NVIDIA (custhelp.com)
  6. Please look into creating separate kneeboard folder locations for the different crew positions in all multi-crew capable aircraft in order to allow players to be able to have different kneeboard files in each for different checklists, etc. Last request I saw for this was in the F-14 forum from 2019.

  7. I'm using the following in PrestonAI_page_common.lua (in Your Main Install Folder\Mods\aircraft\AH-64D\Cockpit\Scripts\AI folder) which puts the compass wheel for me as CPG center lower 3rd of my headset and the weapon wheel upper 1/3 to 1/4 of my headset (with Q2). {0, 0} should put each of them dead center. If I'm remembering correctly, a negative on the first number moves them left and positive right but I might have that flip-flopped as its been a while since I set this up. --for VR only! local compass_pos = {0, -0.20} local weap_control_pos = {0, 0.32} --seems okay, may be a subject to change
  8. Edit lines 9 & 10 in PrestonAI_page_common.lua inside \Mods\aircraft\AH-64D\Cockpit (line 8 ill say For VR Only). I have mine set as follows to give the you as pilot George menu center high, and you as CPG George menu center low. local compass_pos = {0, -0.20} local weap_control_pos = {0, 0.32} --seems okay, may be a subject to change the non-VR positions are on lines 22 & 23
  9. I removed them and so far so good. The rest of the mod is working for me as intended
  10. looks like the 4 files in the particlesystem2 folder are causing IC to fail
  11. ok i'll give it a try
  12. 419 GB (450,397,614,329 bytes) before, 395 GB (424,349,512,987 bytes) after. I removed the Viggen and Mirage liveries since I don't own those and didnt install the KA-50 or Hind files as I don't own those either.
  13. Just to doublecheck, these all will end up with the files going to the main install folder? I have them there but I'm not seeing any improvement in VRAM usage, in fact I'm getting a slight increase. Normally 7.7 to 7.8 out of 8 GB and with these pointed to the main install folder I'm at 8-8.1 from the get-go. I deleted my FXO and metashaders2 folders in saved games but no improvement.
  14. I clicked on the 1st page link for v20 MP and the extracted folder from the zip file is saying v19 MP. Any ideas?
  15. nullIf it matters, I have my OTT set up and if I've had my computer going too long between rebooting, OTT doesnt seem to see I've opened DCS so doesn't load the profile and give me the verbal confirmation. Rebooting fixes the issue. No idea as to why it does what it does.
  16. I tried it and am seeing the same as you.
  17. Setting up to show the hands in PCVR via link by setting up a developer account is in the linked post and video. Took about 5 minutes to do once Meta's stupid 2 factor verification system started working in order to verify the developer account. The HTCC software is one option to use the hands like how a leapmotion unit does it. OpenXR toolkit apparently also has an option to use the Q2 hand tracking but also requires a developer account to show the hands (fyi I havent had time to verify it it works on my computer - unfortunately HTCC wasn't). Meta is being stingy and won't allow hand tracking outside of headset installed apps without a developer account.
  18. GitHub - fredemmott/hand-tracked-cockpit-clicking: Hand tracking for flight simulator cockpit clicking video on it.
  19. The software is fairly easy. I've added the three temporary toggles into each of the 5 modes. This video explains it well.
  20. Same issue on Caucausus
  21. I posted this in the Apache forum after the first time I flew it in after the 2.8 patch. Still seeing as recently as last night while flying on the XSAF server with the hotfix patch installed. Also in the Hornet, Harrier and Hip so far - haven't tried any other aircraft yet but I don't get a lot of time to fly. Toggling the mirrors using the default M key does make it go away while the mirrors are disabled. Haven't reported it though because I haven't seen anyone else reply or talk about it up till seeing this post so figured its something with me only with my settings. It does appear to happen with and without mods (none for cockpits textures in any of these aircraft) and I'd done a slow repair with no luck. I can't seem to get a track file small enough to post. Just checked in the Apache now in 2D and no issues, so for me it appears to be VR related. Using a Quest 2. 11/12 - Did some more messing around with the DCS settings and discovered it was because I had motion blur on (was on in 2.7 & earlier). With it off, there's a tiny bit of fuzziness in the Apache pilot seat looking at the mirror by the CPG (looks like what you'd see IRL with a mirror that's loose and shakes but it's contained within the confines of the mirrors edges and tolerable), but no issues as CPG looking at the pilot or with any of the other aircraft I'd ID'd. That's with and without mods.
