  1. Yeah, as fun as it sounds it's still a tremendous workload to have these as options. Like someone else said the early ducktail wasn't a thing since the 75GR and also not a thing on the 95's. No TCS on early A's and IRIAF birds + having removable fuel tank pylons makes themost sense as far as options go, in my opinion.
  2. It being newer or older has no impact on classification levels or documentation availability. The Hornet and Viper were also widely exported
  3. Well, it will be heard idling on the ground and change in pitch as you spool up the RPM but will blend in with the airflow over the canopy and airfame as you speed up. Currently it is literally one static sound playing in all conditions but AB.
  4. Yep, that is a new issue now, DLC on the gound overrides the spoiler brake, which it clearly shouldn't.
  5. Another thing I noticed is that new "idle whine" sound on the 14A that is simply static and cuts out with AB lightoff. Either make it dynamic and make it asjust pitch/frequency with engine RPM and airspeed or remove it as it really seems out of place at the moment.

  8. Honestly if you dont s*ck at handflying and understand basics of pitch & power, alpha and always flying the numbers the 29 is really easy and forgiving to fly in DCS. I think for most people one of the issues is having a cheap, little resistence joystick which can easily induce high pitch rates and said PIO - since switching to the Virpil WRBRD base and heavy spring I find it a lot easier to make precise inputs. A lot of the videos I see where people mess up the landing or takeoff they simply don't fly the numbers and come in way fast and way hard or simply flare too aggresively. I will say though I have experienced instances of the reverse ground effect happening a few times but wasn't able to pinpoint what causes it - it might even be airfield dependent.
  9. So, as of the latest update overall missile performance is worse than ever (ECM effects and chaff). Well job, great done.
  10. So since this has been around for quite some time and hasn't been fixed yet, I'll report this. When you spectate another player in MP on most aircraft you see his wheel spining in mid air when his gear is down. This got introduced in some uptade last year and did not seem to get addressed. 100% reproduceable by joining any MP server and spectating someone when landing etc.

  12. Well, those are like the only export Flanker variants. RuAF versions aren't happening. It could also still have multicrew - but there simply isn't a requirement for an AI WSO.

  14. Either the wingwing taurus throttle unit (fairly pricy) or the TM T16000M throttle which mostly resembles a Hornet throttle.

  18. Yeah the current ones have a ton of artifacting and weird audio glitches for me at closer distances. Only module that does it.
  19. Ok, I figured it out. It's a zoom issue. The new font does not scale well when you are zoomed out or in a zoomed out VR view, probably. So if your view is rather zoomed out, the TID repeater is fairly hard to read. The new font also seems rather odd and funky.
  20. Ok, is it just the TID or also the HSD/HSI display when you don't have the repeater on?
  21. Is it just in VR? What if you used say 1.8 gamma? What's your screen or render resolution?
  22. No, it literally is in the code. If you actually knew what you are talking about and where to look you'd know. There is no way a simplified desktop sim is going to have a dynamic RCS based on aspect, insidence angle, frequency and closure or whatnot. Every plane in DCS has a fixed RCS, regardless of aspect, ladout or anything else.
  23. I think something is wrong with your settings. What is your gamma? Do you use any shader mods? It does not look like that on my end.
