can you give me a link, where you downloaded it? Ill give it a try
-
you are totally right, it was that, and still ist somethin totally different https://wiki.hoggitworld.com/view/DCS_func_LLtoLO

well, the title says it. I described it here: My Idea is to manipulate the mission file within the .miz to import IP points. Like DAFIF, Navaids, Obstacles and what have you. Those are represented as x and y in the code. I learned already, that those are cartesian / gnomonic coordinates and the 0 point is somewhere, but on each map different. Additionally some DCS maps are rotated like Germany CW for some +7 degrees. ChatGPT is helping me a lot, by creating an excel file where i enter the Lat Lon in decimal, whe 0 Point and the rotation, but the calculation is off and makes no sense at all. Could be me. I am shure it is me, but maybe there is someone out there helping with that. I knew, that there where some threads talking about it, but those guys are MIA for some years. Also, - if i remember right, moose fas a funktion calculating it, and also the expor.lua has a hint to solve this - stupid me dont get it. TLDR; can someone smarter than me provide an excel file calculating Lat Lon to X and Y (should be Z, but thats what it is), taking in account a possible rotation of the map and the 0 Point of the X and Y? € It seems to be called geoLat and geoLong like Lat 48,717069 Lon 9,367466 maybe even converting them from Lat Lon, gut i guess there i would find a conversion to somewhere online.

exact! Just park them somewhere. with changing slot is ment the screen, where you shoose your plane and then press ESC, choose different slot (or choose slot? dont remember, that damn muscle memory ^^ ) Loading a different mission would reset the loaded files.
-
First jump into an F-15c (or one of the others mentioned, depending of the VSN), this will load the corresponding files for the VSN Mods. Jumping directly jumping into an VNS will not trigger loading those files.

thats exactly what i want, but without the connections of the airways. Within the ME, you can set the initial points. In the mission file it looks like that. ["nav_points"] = { [1] = { ["type"] = "Default", ["comment"] = "", ["callsignStr"] = "Siegessaeule", ["id"] = 1939, ["properties"] = { ["vnav"] = 1, ["scale"] = 0, ["vangle"] = 0, ["angle"] = 0, ["steer"] = 2, }, -- end of ["properties"] ["y"] = -483295.52575995, ["x"] = -215817.82661626, }, -- end of [1] I found no other way than editing that file to import these en mass. and at the bottom you see those cartesian format. Thats why I need to convert the originals Lat Lon.

THX, but thats not, what I am Seaching for. Maybe I describet it misleading. If you look at the mission file, all coordinates are in the cartesian system. y = -840958.26268815, x = -437048.15850737 What I need, is a tool to convert from lat/lon to that format. Perfect would be in Excel, so that I can convert real life koordinates in that cartesian format. I used ChatGPT to help and yes, I gained a lot of knowledge, but I am standing still with the rotation of the map and the cartesian zero point. ChatGPT got a hint with calculation of difference errors and the rotation combined with Lat0 and Lon0 which represents the Zero Point. The Excel Solver finds those corrdinates - i guess by trying - to minimize the coordinate errors, but ... here it ends. There is something between stupid me and the rotation of the map. In the end, i would like to massimport navaids and reporting points by editing the mission file. Easy done, no issues, if there is a conversion happening Again, its not About LatLon MGRS whatever, but this pesky CCS or cartesian.
-
Is there anyone capable of convertig the Koordinates Lat Lon into DCS CCS? I asked ChatGPT, but i am to stupid to figure out the exact rotation of the map and the zero point of the map. My goal is to manipulate the mission file within the .miz to import VFR reporting points.

jep, 20 of 36 GBs with 110MB/s and now down to 2 MB/s, dropping to some KB/s

Warum fehlt auf der neuen Cold War Map Deutschland Süddeutschland
GrafRotz replied to Nachtfalke's topic in Deutsch
Contenance die Herren! Looking forward, central Europe was a long term wish from the community. Great missions incomming! The previews looked very promising.

Air race event starts today for this weekend

I still don't get it, if you fly at the absolute limits of that bird, how they still got even more seconds out of the track. What a great final, what a great fun we had. Congrats to all, and my deepest respect to the top 3. I learned a lot how to handle that horse at its limits. -
-
This expands at least to north of Hamburg (Ratzeburg seems to bee identified) and Koblenz, Rhine Area (Mendig Airfield was identified)
-

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Multiservice_tactical_brevity_code try this one. Totally depends on the situation. Tied is a good one, Judy when beeing coordinated by an controller. CRTL+F "Radar"
-
better than beeing splitted into two parts by the rudder. Those Seats where still in the early stage at that time. Germany changed to the C2 seat which was usable to eject at zero height, but still at an airspeed above 100 knots.

I guess, thats the right way. IDX -> REF SELECT BUT, its buggy, if i set units to IN, and try to set 29.92 it says INVALID ENTRY. If i st just 29, it jumps to 23.62 Could be me, but may be buggy. MB behaves the same way.

Stichwort toxische Community.
