I just really want a Russian naval aircraft like Yak-38 or Su-33 that's full fidelity. Does anyone know if this is possible, or when it might be possible given they will have to abide by Russian law? I know they are working on MiG-29A but Su-33 isn't too far off is it?

I would rather have a real Chinese trainer or actual fighter than one from a problematic country.

I'm not asking for all Block III features to come. We have a A2A refueling pod from Block II and the HMD button is already in the DCS FC-1 cockpit. There is nothing wrong with asking for HMD when very soon we will see what will come to Pakistan's air force.

I don't know who Jeff is but I thought they had already gotten one for testing and China has some Block III FC-1's with many new features. Aren't they getting like fifty in just a few months?

I hope you guys consider adding HMD to JF-17 since Pakistan is now using them with Block 3

I would rather have Deka make their own J-7 module and include Chinese missiles than other developers adding Chinese missiles for their planes. MiG-19P does not need new missiles because it never used anything else. One day we may get a MiG-19S module which could have Chinese skins attached or though bazar though. I hope they can see our desire for a J-7 module.

I think the biggest issue is that there is absolutely NO feedback when entering VRS. In Mi-8 you get that feeling when it starts to shake and it's no problem. In Mi-24 you don't know if you're even entered VRS. I hope they can fix this issue, even if the feedback is ever so slight.

I am hugely into Cold War stuff. Issue is that first Gen J-8 isn't anything special, honestly. Second gen is VERY cool and so is J-7II/E. If Deka can't do Su-30MKK then I would rather have one of those two.

I feel like we desperately need either Eastern Baltics or Korea. Vietnam would be cool, sure, but we don't have historical MiGs like MiG-21PFM or MiG-19S. Korea has the benefit of being able to go into modern times with North Korea just as we are getting with Marianas, unlike Vietnam.

I very much agree with you. I did not want there to be discussion between the two aircraft because it would result in NATO fanboys getting upset by anyone even considering comparing the two aircraft and that they are not meant to fight one another. Yak-38 is more meant to be used to oppose naval units with anti-ship manually-guided missiles and uncontested AWACS. Harrier eventually developed into a much more capable aircraft obviously, but this took time, money, and operated under a very different philosophy. It's like what someone said about Soviet carriers acting as ships first which provide its own anti-air capabilities. It's such a pointless comparison which is why it's just a waste of time for everyone involved. If you are going to make comparisons, make them with the Harrier GR.3, not the much more modern Sea Harrier we have in DCS. There is nothing wrong with getting more opposition to NATO in DCS, even if it's not brand new. But also, there are many people such as myself who are very much interested in Soviet doctrine when it comes to naval-based VTOL aircraft and anti-ship operations. It's something that could be utilized in the brand new Marianas map as well.

I would buy an L-15. Very cool more of a fighter than a trainer, and it even looks similar system-wise to the FC-1.

Wow! Maybe one day I really will be able to have an official Yak-38 module to learn and show off with. Please don't give up bringing your project up to DCS standard

They are being phased out in the coming years.
