If anyone else wants a more clear explanation for how to solve the issue, go to Logitech's software for X56, go to mapping, open the profile and delete file called untitled.pr0. You can do either that or right click the X56 icon in system tray and close the profile, but that's temporary as opposed to deleting it entirely.

If we miraculously somehow get a Zero in DCS, PvP would be completely one-sided.

I'm just curious. Does anyone know what ED has stated in regards to potentially getting an Mi-24V in DCS in the future? It would be cool to have both versions, although I am glad they went with the Mi-24P for the cannon. Thanks!

I'm actually okay with however this chat ends up. Yes I was referring to Korean War but I don't mind from whichever era we get jets. Even carrier-based props are fine. Still don't think we need a Zero but it would be nice to get stuff like Seafires, Sea Fury, F8F and maybe even N1K2-J. I still wish we could get Sea Venom and Sea Hawk though. More modern stuff would be nice too and I'm glad we have what we do when it comes to F-14 and Hornet, but I would rather purchase the F-8 Crusader and A-6 Intruder when they come out, and I'm not even big on American aviation but those are just too cool.

No, it is still we need more carrier-based aircraft, so far all are US carrier aircraft including AV-8B. I think getting some naval helicopters would be a good addition, as well as Russian aircraft like Yak-38 and one day J-15, Su-33 or MiG-29K (Not possible atm). The French have their Etendards and British have Buccaneer, Sea Hawk and Scimitar. Some other, older aircraft which I think DCS would benefit from could be stuff like F3D Skyknight, F-4 Phantom, F9F, F3H Demon, F-11F Tiger, FJ-4B, F4D Skyray, etc.

I did not mention A-7E because I do not care about ugly planes. I do a lot of research. The one plane I am excited for is the A-6.

Argentina used about 10 Alouette III's during the war and lost one. They were crucial for inserting troops into the Malvinas and doing other tasks. It was also used by many other airforces world wide and I've always wanted to fly one

As much as it's nice to have some of those coming, I was envisioning something a tad bit older or not American. Since we can't get an A-4 due to the mod, my top choice would have been the carrier-based F3H or F-11F fighters. I knew those aircraft were coming but just isn't enough to satisfy myself. The A-6 is the only one that seems interesting enough to grab, but I'll have to look at what it's like once it releases before I decide to purchase an aircraft with US electronics that I'll have to learn.

It's confirmed we are getting the Sea King one day but most of those that you mentioned were primarily used by the British. I understand that's what you prefer and there's nothing wrong with that but I personally would like to see Argentina just as fleshed out as the British will be. The Argentinians did not use their two Lynxes from what I understand while they did use their Alouette III's very much. I would hope that RAZBAM sees the value in a full-fidelity Alouette III just as much as a Lynx or Puma, but I mean... Chinook above Alouette III? Seriously?

That's not really a problem I think that's just how the Mi-8 is. Love that plane, very realistic. Hope we get multicrew for it someday.

I understand, I just don't really care for what's currently offered in DCS. I want more older cold war stuff thanks. Looks slow even on a video lol. I don't think we need a Zero in DCS. Look not to be rude... but if we were to one day miraculously get a Zero in DCS from Japanese sources, most US pilots would try turn fighting with them instead of a proper pilot energy fighting or trying to BnZ. We need more US/NATO cold war stuff. ATM we only really have F-5 and Viggen.

I don't think the S-61 Seaking is the mystery helo. They have said they are making one heavy US helo and two European helos. I think the US one is the S-61 Seaking but the European helos no one knows. I really hope they are working on an Alouette III because they would fit perfectly with the Falklands map and it's one of my favorite helicopters. It has good armament as well.

I know we have the Tomcat and kind of the Su-33, but we really do need more carrier-based aircraft in DCS for people who don't like what's currently offered. I think something like an F-11F, F3H Demon, F4D Skyray or for other nations Yak-38, Sea Hawk, Sea Venom, Super Etendard, etc. I hope you guys consider some of these options as well as the F-4 Phantom II in the future.

Well a similar effect can be made if the devs simply add cockpit shake to the Mi-24. If the shake is simulated through a "ButtKicker" then it should be fairly easy to add the same shake to the screen effect.
