    Bruh it has 8x ATGM's and will get R-60M's. What do you mean it's got no purpose? Mi-8 is less capable than the Hind and it fits perfectly into DCS. Sometimes it just feels like BLUFOR Nato players have gotten lobotomies they are so braindead.

    Maybe to compensate for the co-pilot not having much to do besides guiding ATGM's, he could just switch between both KORD gunner positions. WIth the Mi-8 however, I hope they give it 3-player multicrew, as that helicopter actually needs more than two players.

    Hello, I was wondering if the Hind will get 2-player multicrew for pilot and co-pilot, or 3-player multicrew since in the future we will be getting a KORD door gunner with 12.7mm machine gun. Could a third person be here on this gunner position since neither the pilot nor the co-pilot can leave to get into the back gunner from their position, or will it be an AI who will be using this door gunnery position? Thank you!

    Also I wonder if we will get 2-player or 3-player multicrew, since we will be getting a door gunner in the back of the Hind. This should be usable, correct? Does this mean we'll have max 3-player multicrew, or still only 2? I'll make a separate topic.

    Immediately pre-ordered as I purchase all things REDFOR, but I was disappointed with the pre-order trailer for the Hind. It did not show off the Shturm anti-tank missiles or co-pilot action. Hopefully we get the custom skin template soon!

    I propose that someone considers developing an opponent for the I-16. Something like maybe early Bf-109 Emil (E-variant) or some other early war allied or axis plane. I think the only reason people are not into early birds is the lack of competitive aircraft for it. The Bf-109K-4 for example has no equal opponent to fight in all honesty. I hope ED realizes this and does something to not only bridge the gap between their Sabre and modern aircraft, but to also add earlier warbirds such as these. I will give some examples... Bf-109B Bf-109E (Perfect for Channel map) He-112 Hurricane (Perfect for Channel map) Spitfire Mk I ? F2A Buffalo (Winter war) Ki-27 (Soviet/Sino-Japanese war) A5M4 (Soviet/Sino-Japanese war)

    I apologize. I was under the assumption that it was inspired by the Su-15 but a more modern domestic design. Thanks for correcting me. If we don't end up getting Su-30MKK or J-7II, I hope we get this one. EDIT: After further research it turns out I was half right. The solid nose configuration was directly inspired from the Su-15.

    I was flying 1v1 with my friend on a dogfight server and noticed that 50% of the time it would not radar lock his F-16 even when he was right in front of me. Sometimes after like 6+ seconds of waiting it would get a lock, and then a few seconds later lose it even when he wasn't maneuvering or anything. Just randomly dropping lock. Do you guys know why this is? I'm not making any accusations that it's broken or anything, I just want to understand why it's not locking on when I feel like it should be. Even in bore sight mode when I know exactly where he is in a head-on it doesn't lock on until he is right about to pass me. Just seems off, maybe I'm doing something wrong. Anybody else understand what I'm talking about?

    Bro what are you talking about. J-8II is based off of the Su-15... Also as much as I want a J-7, they are more than likely going to go for the Q-5.

    Any chance we could see the implementation of block 3 HMD for the JF-17? I see there is a button for HMD usage in the cockpit and I know block 1 and 2 doesn't have the functionality (yet), but if we see that block 3 with the Pakistani airforce or other airforces begin to use HMD on their JF-17's, will we see this functionality come to DCS? Thank you.

    Instead of a Southern Baltic map, honestly it should be an Eastern Baltic map that encompasses the Baltic countries, Kaliningrad, Poland, Sweden, and maybe a little bit of Finland. I really hope someone gets to work on it. I would much rather have Eastern Europe chosen as the next map that comes out after Marianas with the Baltic sea over Afghanistan or another desert map. Korea would be okay, so long as they do two versions. One being 1950's and another being after the war with the DMZ, but I would much rather sea Baltics over Korea to be honest.

    I really hope they don't can the BS3 update entirely. I was really looking forward to this when I heard about the Apache coming into the game. It would really help balance REDFOR and BLUFOR. I know they say it is "on hold" but let's be honest. It is flat out cancelled. All I can hope is that they can shelf it now and wait the years or decades it takes until the law changes, the systems become old enough for DCS implementation, or they somehow miraculously get permission. It doesn't even have to be all the features, just a couple like Iglas or RWR would help.
